General Hospital Spoilers: Ezra’s Redemption – Will He Enter Witness Protection and Turn on Sidwell?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ezra Boyle’s (Daniel Cosgrove) only salvation may be Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) hope.
As Laura tries to figure out a way to help both of them escape Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) blackmail and control, might she convince Ezra to take witness protection?
Ezra Drunkenly Divulged He Knew About The Photographs
When Laura went to the Brown Dog Bar after a tip from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) she found a very drunken Ezra becoming combative with the bartender.
She took him home to her condo to help him sober up, and he divulged he knew about the photographs that Sidwell was blackmailing her and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with.
She was surprised that Sidwell would have shared that information with Ezra, but however Ezra found out, he was afraid of becoming another body in her trunk like Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard)!
Ezra blames himself for Sidwell framing Laura for murder, especially after Laura heard his drunken rant in the Brown Dog Bar.
He was ranting that he wanted to be mayor, and now he was working with a viper, yet, in spite of that, Laura still wants to help him.
Laura Will Propose An Alliance-The Two Of Them To Work Together Against Sidwell
Laura will propose an alliance after Ezra confesses to his guilt in Sidwell’s framing of her; she’s trying to figure out how she can help solve the blackmail problem.
Ezra also fears he’s in much too deep to get out clean, and the two may talk about these problems for quite a while, since they’re alone in her condo.
Laura has compassion on the crooked councilman, believing him that he never wanted it to be this way-she figures Sidwell’s blackmailing him for something, too.
What started out as an attractive package for revitalizing Port Charles’ waterfront has obviously turned into some kind of deep-level scam, and although Sidwell isn’t in the Five Families, his tactics reek of mob!
Knowing What Ezra Knows About The Frame Job, Might He Take A Witness Protection Deal?
Laura wonders, knowing what Ezra knows about the frame job, might he take a witness protection deal to testify in court about what he knows? She knows that Sonny has his own ideas about how to solve the Sidwell problem, and not only she and Sonny, but Ezra wants to solve it as well.
This is not the first time Laura has assisted in protection deals and realizes Ezra’s whole life would change-his political career would be gone.
But at least if he’s played a major part in bringing Sidwell to justice, at least for that one crime, and he’s convicted, he could be proud of himself for making Port Charles safer.
And it would give Ezra a chance at a brand new start, his past somewhat redeemed.
