General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Might Be Falling for Spencer, But Does She Mean Any Harm?
General Hospital spoilers suggest Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) isn’t doing a very good job at hiding her feelings for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), but then again, she’s not trying to hide it.
Should someone who actually pays Esme any attention notice her budding feelings, they might have some remarks for her.
For instance, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has taken an interest in Esme and she may come to notice that her newest employee has her own interest in Spencer.
Alexis may not take issue with what Esme does in her private life, but there is someone else who does — Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
Portia will do anything to break Spencer away from her daughter — even if that means pushing Esme toward him.
Will Esme take to Portia’s encouragement, despite seeing it for what it is — a deliberate attempt to sabotage Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) relationship?
General Hospital Spoilers — Esme’s Feelings Matter
Esme doesn’t really have anyone she can call a friend in this world. She has distanced herself from her birth mom, Heather Webber (Alley Mills), on purpose.
Alexis seems to have taken Esme under her wing, but she’s not always tolerant of her; it’s clear she’s on the fence about the kind of person Esme is and whether she trusts her to make good use of her second chance at life.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been kind to her, but she’s out of the country and it’s left Esme feeling alone and misunderstood even more than she did before.
Spencer has been quite a pal to her lately, but that doesn’t mean Trina is out of the way. So when Portia seems to take more of an interest in Esme’s well-being, will she be too vulnerable to turn her away?
It may be hard for Esme to resist that kind of compassion when she’s so used to never having it.
GH Spoilers Say She’s No Dummy
That being said, none of this means Esme isn’t aware of what Portia is up to either. She knows Portia doesn’t truly care about how Esme is coping or what her future with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) ends up looking like.
But if Portia can help Esme secure a relationship with Spencer that she’s longing for, is there any harm in making use of her poor intentions?
Esme could try to lie to herself in pursuit of getting what she wants, but will she really let herself be used that way in the process to give Portia what she wants, too?
General Hospital Spoilers — The Road Less Traveled
Rumor has it Esme is going to take the high road this time around. Maybe the new improved Esme has learned a few lessons along the way, even if she doesn’t remember them consciously.
She may have feelings for Spencer, but that doesn’t mean she thinks she’s entitled to break up his current relationship just to have him all to herself.
