General Hospital Spoilers: Eddie Gets A Talking To And A Long-Nailed Finger In The Face?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) will get a talking to, and quite possibly a long-nailed finger in the face! If anyone can talk some sense into Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) who knew him as Eddie intimately, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) can!
General Hospital Spoilers: What Did He Do?
A fair question might be what did Eddie do to deserve this talking to-well, for one thing, this Eddie is not the Eddie Lois married-they’re nothing alike.
Lois might suspect that Ned is making his amnesia up because of pressure to perform as a proper Quartermaine-the same thing that birthed Eddie Maine before. The Eddie of old would never go in a park and busk for money from passers-by, he’d be off on a tour with his band, The Idle Rich.
Even his wife, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) Lois’ best friend from high school days wanted him to be wealthy businessman Ned and didn’t support his music. The closest thing that Ned had gotten to in years as far as singing and music was helping Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) make music at a Quartermaine picnic!
GH Spoilers: Could The Answer Really Be That Simple?
Could the answer really be that simple-that Ned woke up from his coma no longer fighting a midlife crisis and wanted to be Eddie again, so he’s faking complicated amnesia? If anyone would be able to tell, it would be Lois-and if anyone would call him on it, again, it would be Lois; she doesn’t pull any punches!
After all, this is the same woman who popped out of a wedding cake at Ned’s Quartermaine-forced marriage to Katherine Bell (Mary Beth Evans).
She told her “Congratulations, Mrs. Ned Quartermaine from the other Mrs. Ned Quartermaine”-Lois Cerullo is fearless, speaks her mind and doesn’t care what others think!
General Hospital Spoilers: You’re Hurting Your Wife And Family
Far be it from Lois to give Tracy Quartermaine, (Jane Elliot) the last of the old-guard Quartermaines any slack-but Lois’ll make it plain to “Neddie” he’s hurting his wife and family.
That is, if his reincarnation as a new Eddie Maine isn’t legitimate and it is a case of unusually complicated amnesia from his traumatic brain injury. That said, Eddie had to come from somewhere, some part of Ned in his subconscious-but why is this new version so different then?
Whatever this new version of Eddie is and wherever he came from in Ned’s mind, he’s not the Eddie that Lois knew and loved-where did that Eddie go? There has to be some reason that a whole new persona emerged, and Lois is determined to get to the bottom of it!
