General Hospital spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) have their eyes on the price —- ELQ. Believing Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has checked out and may never return to his senses, they envision a simpler takeover of the family business.
Perhaps they even think they’ll be able to convince Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) to fork over his role in the company because he hasn’t the faintest idea of what to do with it.
But they could expect that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will stand firmly in their way if they go that route.
Rather, they’ll have to seek this takeover by legal means — and probably with Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) at their side.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew and Michael are Ruthless
So much for family. But after all, Drew believes Ned turned him in to the SEC, so he’s not all that sympathetic to his plight. In fact, he may be itching to stake revenge on his cousin and eager to let Michael help.
His mother was impacted by all of this too, after all. One would think Ned might just tell them he’s innocent and knows who the guilty party is, but that wouldn’t be nearly as fun.
When he senses his family is out to get him, he’s going to make sure to mop the floor with them. Of course, all the while, Michael will know the truth —- that Ned is innocent.
GH Spoilers Hint Marty Complicates Things
Not only is Ned innocent, but their attorney for hire — Marty — is not. Michael will have to keep his lips zipped about that as he goes along for this ride with Drew.
Furthermore, it’s going to make Marty feel quite nervous working for Michael and Drew given the conflict of interest only he and Michael currently know about.
In addition, Marty will be working against Ned when he knows the guy is actually innocent. Ned will know that too though, so it’s going to make for an interesting exchange between them.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ned Plays Dumb
Ned will become wise to the game Drew and Michael are playing, and he’s going to use his time spent as Eddie to his advantage while fooling them into thinking he’s still lost in translation and overtaken by his alter ego.
Of course, the whole family will have to rally around him in support of that plan, now that they know he’s Ned again. Further, Olivia may have to keep her hands off the guy, too.
Rumor has it the charade will go off without a hitch until Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) and his keen sense of awareness notices something is off with Eddie. Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
