General Hospital Spoilers: Dex’s Affection for Joss Might Be Surpassed by His Admiration of Sonny
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has been working as an undercover agent with a mission to take down crime boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from the inside, but he has recently found himself in a complicated situation. As he infiltrated Sonny’s organization and grew closer to Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) former stepfather, Dex developed a respect for him that he never expected. The job was supposed to be straightforward, but now Dex is stuck between loyalty to his mission and his girlfriend and loyalty to Sonny and his mob family. This leaves him caught in the middle, especially when it comes to his relationship with Joss.
General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Wants Dex Out of the Mob Like Yesterday
Joss has been pushing Dex for some time now to end his involvement with Sonny’s business. But while she wants Dex to be safe from danger, he secretly doesn’t want out of the business. Something shifted for him when he took that bullet for Sonny in the warehouse, and he formed an attachment he can’t seem to shake off.
Dex was supposed to be done with Sonny and his organized crime empire, but he hasn’t closed up shop still. This will prompt Joss to grow frustrated and suspicious about what is really going on. When she puts pressure on him to pull the plug and he doesn’t, Joss is going to have some tough questions for Dex to answer.
GH Spoilers Hint Michael Doesn’t Care
When Joss eventually finds out that Dex doesn’t want out of the business after all, her brother Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will look relieved, which will leave Joss angered and confused. Michael has felt for some time that he’s not really harboring any resentment or anger toward his dad anymore anyway. So hearing that Dex doesn’t want to pull off the Pikeman deal is going to lift a weight off Michael’s shoulders he didn’t know was there. Of course, Joss doesn’t want her brother to be unhappy or do anything he’s going to regret, but she’ll have a hard time seeing past her own feelings.
General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Mulls Over Her Choices
Unfortunately for Joss, her hopes of having a low-key relationship with someone who isn’t involved in a deadly workforce will be dashed yet again as a result of Dex’s decision not to proceed with Michael’s plan. She is tired of feeling anxious every time he leaves her side and may begin searching elsewhere — like back with Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) — for someone who can give her what she wants without putting themselves at risk in any way.
