General Hospital (GH) spoilers for May Sweeps suggest that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) may be alive. Added teasers imply that this could be discovered as early as next month. There’s nothing soaps love more than to shock fans during a Sweeps month, and if Luke is alive, it’ll be a welcomed surprise. But how will viewers learn this? Could he be on the Haunted Star with the other hostages, currently?

GH spoilers hint that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has a few more shockers before he exits current storylines. It’s hard not to think that Luke is alive. After all, no body was recovered from his accident, and as Mr. Spencer is an iconic figure on the show, it would make sense that the downfall of Victor Cassadine would bring to light that Luke never died. He’s the ultimate hero in Port Charles.
It would also be interesting for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) to come face-to-face with his namesake. There has to be a reason Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) mentioned this in a scene some weeks ago. If Spencer finds Luke and helps release him, both could join forces to bring Victor down.

It’s also no coincidence that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) recently returned to Port Charles. Sure, bringing her back for May Sweeps makes sense, but her comeback coinciding with Luke’s “alive” status means the two could head off in the sunset together once Victor’s reign of terror is put to an end and the Haunted Star hostages come back home.
Speaking of the vessel, the Haunted Star is so huge that Luke could be stowed away somewhere without anyone knowing; however, he doesn’t have to be on the boat to be alive. Luke may very well be at the lab in Greenland where the ship will dock. At the end of the day, anything is possible in the land of Port Chuckles!
