General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, May 13-Friday, May 17 tease someone’s caught in the crossfire after the big Quartermaine wedding!
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) make it from the church okay, but it looks like not such a happily ever after for the couple!
General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Gets Ready
As the promo begins, we see Brook Lynn standing in front of a full-length mirror, filled with anticipation for her wedding day. She is getting ready to head to the church, where she will exchange vows with her beloved, the reception at the Metro Court afterwards.
In a heartwarming gesture, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) presents Brook Lynn with a precious heirloom from her late grandmother, Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee).
Perhaps this sentimental gift is what catches Brook Lynn’s eye as she gazes into the mirror, preparing herself for the momentous occasion.
However, little do they know that their special day will take an unexpected turn-as the newlyweds celebrate at the Metro Court, a shocking act of violence unfolds, shattering the joyous atmosphere.
GH Spoilers: The Groom And His Party Await
Chase, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) are gathered at the church, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Brook Lynn and the rest of the bride’s party.
While most of them are smiling, Chase appears slightly nervous and Gregory a bit stiff, though he still manages to crack a smile. As they wait for the ceremony to start, Finn is also seen smiling, looking forward to the moment when Chase will marry Brook Lynn.
As always, worries about Gregory’s advancing ALS are in the back of the two brothers’ minds, Gregory set to officiate but possibly with a backup just in case.
General Hospital Spoilers: The Bride’s Parents Excited And Waiting
Meanwhile, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), the mother of the bride, stands beside the father of the bride, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), with a smile on her face but tears in her eyes.
She eagerly waits for the festivities to begin, dressed in a surprisingly conservative white outfit-as the music starts playing, she can’t help but exclaim, “Let’s get this party started!” In a quick flashback, we catch a glimpse of Chase, Finn, and Gregory in Finn’s apartment; Gregory appears a little stiff, but there’s a hint of a smile on his face.
Before long, everyone will gather at the church to witness the joyous union of the happy couple. However, it seems that the reception may not be as blissful as expected; one of the wedding guests is boiling over and about to explode!
GH Spoilers: Worries, Watching, And Trouble!
Inside, Brook Lynn says everything’s got to go off without a hitch, while outside, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) watches and in on the phone.
This could be a precautionary measure orchestrated by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who enlists Spinelli’s help in a plan to assist Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Suddenly, the scene shifts to the reception at the Metro Court where Chase’s urgent voice is heard exclaiming “We’ve got trouble!”-Brook Lynn reacts with shock, exclaiming “Oh my God!”
Meanwhile, Finn hesitates before taking a sip of champagne, his expression troubled-could there be something wrong with the champagne, or is he also aware of the impending trouble?
General Hospital Spoilers: Trouble And Traitors
Whenever a bipolar Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is off his meds and feeling paranoid, trouble is bound to follow-in this case, he’s on sabotaged meds at a lower dose!
Sonny catches sight of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) chatting with someone at the reception, possibly Brook Lynn’s cousin Gio Cerullo (Giovanni Mazza) and immediately loses his cool. “You know what I do to traitors?” he bellows; the tension escalates as it seems like a gunshot has been fired, leaving everyone on edge.
Finn’s concern for Gregory grows as the situation unfolds; he may be the one who’s been shot; Brook Lynn worries as she says he’s lost a lot of blood! Finn looks worried, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) worries outside, as someone urgently says “let’s get him to Trauma One”!
