General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Can’t Hide Her Jealousy Over Jason’s Next Romance!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) hasn’t had time for romance since he returned to Port Charles. As viewers know, Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) has been blackmailing Jason into working undercover for the FBI for the past few years.

For most of that time, Jason had to let his family and friends believe he was dead. Jason made those sacrifices all so that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) would stay out of prison.

Cates and the FBI have in their possession a recording of Carly admitting to temporarily running the criminal Corinthos Organization.

Although Jason and Carly love each other very much, their relationship isn’t necessarily romantic. Although they have tried to be together in the past, it just has never worked out.

Both Jason and Carly agree they are better off as kind of platonic soulmates. But that means that eventually, Jason is going to find romance with someone other than Carly.

He could renew her previous relationship with either Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) or Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Or he could even find a brand new love in the coming months.

Just because they aren’t romantic partners, doesn’t mean that Carly won’t be jealous if Jason falls for someone else. Both Sam and Elizabeth have experienced Carly’s brand of interference in the past and there’s no reason to believe that won’t continue should they get involved with Jason again.

In fact, that alone might keep either woman from pursuing anything romantic with Jason in the future. Carly tends to always comes first no matter who Jason is involved with, and Carly isn’t above creating trouble for herself just to divert Jason’s attention.

Jason is wise to Carly’s tricks and would have no problem calling her out on them. He could easily warn Carly to back off when it comes to his love life.

But Carly isn’t really one to take orders from anyone, including Jason. So Carly’s interference in his love life may just be something Jason has to live with.

But whoever he chooses to love next may not be quite so forgiving where Carly is concerned. Jason may have trouble finding anyone willing to put up with Carly’s unique brand of troublemaking!
