‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Brook Lynn’s Baby and Cyrus’s Death – Head Writers Talk the Fallout
General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that the land of Port Charles continues to bring on the drama during February sweeps month. With that said, the Thursday, February 20 episode offered some major moments that left viewers on the edge of their seats.
In one drama-packed show, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) finally told Harrison Chase (Joshua Swickard) that she had secretly had a teen pregnancy.
Across town, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) shot Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) dead, after he made a chilling confession to why he killed both Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) via digitalis injections.
Of course, in a shocking twist of events, she called WSB Agent, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for help, rather than Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
What should fans expect in the aftermath of this all?
Life Will Never Be The Same For Josslyn – And Others!
GH Head Writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten caught up with Soap Opera (SOD) to talk about ‘what’s next’ in the little town.
The writers tell SOD that Cyrus’ passing will be a turning point for several characters, but mostly, Josslyn’s. The GH writers state the character, “… proved able to track down Dex’s killer and just as importantly, to save her own life when Cyrus threatened her.”
Still, the writers acknowledge she didn’t do this alone. The go to say, “Brennan has been in the background all along, providing a nudge here and a morsel of information there. We’ll soon learn why. Brennan’s presence in Port Charles and his proximity to Carly is no accident.”
Still, they add that Brennan’s feelings for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were ‘accidental’, so the ‘romance’ between the two, “…will come into direct conflict with his intentions for Josslyn.”
The writers continue to note that both Joss and Carly will find themselves diving into a whole new world – Brennan’s world, and several GH characters will be pulled into this arc as loyalties – both between family and friends – are questioned, including Jason.
BLQ’s Baby Bombshell
GH fans have watched the slow burn of this storyline and loved every moment! Still, BLQ recently confided in Chase and the good news is that he won’t be mad at her, but he will feel bad for what she went through.
Still, there’s one major piece to the puzzle that has yet to be revealed, which is, that Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is BLQ and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) son – and the fact that Dante needs to be brought into the loop.
Still, Van Etten and Korte state that there’s a plot twist on the horizon and her name is Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). The writers stated, “She’s (Lulu) got her parents’ nose for mystery, and won’t stand for injustice. If she learns Dante has a kid, and that kid’s existence was kept from him, Lulu would stop at nothing to bring it to light… Lois and Brook Lynn be damned.”
Looks like Gio’s roots will rock Qs, Corinthos clan, and Falconeri’s, as well as Gio himself, and it doesn’t sound like anyone will appreciate Lulu blowing the top on this.

[…] Although it was self-defense, Brennan suggested Josslyn could go to prison. Instead of calling the police, Brennan arranged a clean-up. […]
[…] After realizing that her life at Bobbie’s and her college studies are going nowhere fast, Josslyn makes a life-altering decision that would blow poor Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) mind. […]
It seems so ridiculous that every time Brooklyn is in bed with her husband, she’s fully dressed.
Josslyn, if you shot that lowlife, where is the in entrance wound where the bullet went in? He was shot in the back by Brennen. He is certainly someone you and your mother shouldn’t trust just like Jason told your mother.
Go ahead, Jason will somehow save your bacon just like he has been doing for your mother all these years!
Reading up on her, it might be due to her religion. I believe that she is an Orthodox Jew. I’m sure that she is an excellent actor and religion is not a reason to keep her from getting a role. I am a Conservative Jew. It allows more freedom in our lives. I know you agree that her relationship with all the actors are hitting it out of the studio!
