General Hospital spoilers reveal that while we already knew Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was slated to head out of town for a few months, it wasn’t clear what context that exit would be present with.
Now, it’s starting to become clearer. Jason has a plan to seize a sample of the medication that agent Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) have been cautiously dishing out to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
By reverse engineering that medication, he can ensure Britt doesn’t go without the drugs she needs to stay alive and thriving — and she’ll be out from under the thumbs of these bad guys.
It sounds like his plan involves going away for a while — with Britt in tow — while Sidwell, Cullum, and their entire operation go belly up. But one wrong move could upend this grand plan, and the look on Britt’s face lately shows she’s worried about that possibility.
Jason is Laying the Groundwork for an Exit
Last week, Jason asked Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) about the roles they would play in Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) life if something were to happen to him.
Tracy tried to push him and inquired whether he was in some kind of trouble, but she should have known he was never going to answer that question.
However, looking back, it’s going to make sense to Alexis and Tracy that he knew he needed his ducks in a row, and that must mean he’s planning to leave town on his own terms. So it won’t look unusual to the people who matter if he and Britt vanish.
GH Spoilers Gossip Things May Not Go as Planned
The rumor mill has been churning for a while with tales of Jason being kidnapped. That leak doesn’t exactly jive with this idea that he was planning to disappear for a while and lay low.
However, the pretextual foundation he’s laying with friends and family will likely make it more believable to them that he left on his own accord and is safe.
THus, they won’t be worried about him, just like how things played out with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Of course, if Jason isn’t actually safe or hiding out somewhere on his own terms, then all hell could break loose — especially for Britt.
Does Britt Survive?
Fans have been elated to be reassured that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)Jason isn’t dying again. But that doesn’t mean Britt won’t be. Her fanbase would hate to see Thiebaud out so soon after only returning last July.
If she’s fortunate enough to score those meds and go on the run with Jason, having them reverse engineered to preserve her life would give her a shot at sharing it with Jason.
But if it’s true he’s going to be kidnapped, that leaves me thinking they won’t get those meds.
Moreover, it’s possible they have to go on the run anyway to protect themselves from Sidwell, but without the meds. Could that mean Britt has to slowly die from Huntington’s on Jason’s watch? Or, will we find out what many have suspected for some time — that Britt isn’t really sick? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
