General Hospital spoilers say Ava Jerome (Maura West) was given the last gift she was expecting this holiday season — a gun from a stranger.
Being gifted such an expensive and dangerous item is enough to rattle her cage, but Ava can’t stop wondering about the identity of the person who is toying with her.
They were able to get into her apartment, after all, and they also slipped a note into her purse when she wasn’t looking. That means this person who is targeting her is awfully close — too close for comfort. But Ava just might take that gift to heart.
As the note said, she doesn’t know when she might need it. Is that time coming sooner than Ava ever would have expected?

Whoever is teasing and tormenting Ava is doing a darned good job of it, and she’s not afraid to admit that she’s shaken by their actions.
But she still assumes whoever it is may most likely be a bad actor sent by Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) to make sure Ava doesn’t get a good night’s sleep for the rest of the year.
How long can he keep this up? As the stakes grow higher and signs of this mystery stalker’s presence become clearer, Ava may start to worry that there is no way Nikolas would compromise his freedom to come back and play with her emotions this way. This spells the question: Who is Ava’s stalker?
GH Spoilers Gush Sonny Can’t Always Save the Day
Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) wasted no time blurting out the truth to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on Christmas Eve. Ava just wasn’t willing to run to Sonny in need of help all over again.
As Nina pointed out the other times she has, she must’ve thought it would remind Ava that it’s par for the course. Instead, it only cemented Ava’s desire to keep things to herself and manage it on her own.
Ava is right; she can’t run to Sonny every time the going gets tough, and in this particular instance, he’s not going to turn up anything helpful when his people look into it anyway. Whoever is targeting Ava must have known to expect she would have him in her corner.

Eventually, this storyline will peak as Ava has the chance to meet her tormentor. Coming nearly face-to-face with them will change everything.
If Ava thought she was in trouble before when she almost killed Nikolas, she’s in for a surprise as she lands herself right back in the same position by using the very gun the stalker supplied her with to shoot them.
What comes next? Will the PCPD discover the gun was linked to other crimes?
Will the stalker manage to get away, or is this where the truth comes out about who has been after Ava? Something tells us the plot is only going to thicken.
