General Hospital Spoilers: Austin’s Cassadine Chaos Puts Maxie And Her Kids In Danger-Helena The Boss At Victor’s Cassadine Compound?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) is up to his unwilling ears in Cassadine chaos; it could mean danger for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her kids. Even though Austin and Maxie are no longer an item, all of Austin’s friends are at risk-he has to keep some serious secrets from them, except Ava Jerome (Maura West).
General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine Missing, Mystery Boss?
Austin was in on the secret that Ava accidentally killed – or thought she did – Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), but by the time they went to bury the body, he was gone! Detectives Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Bennett (Kendrick Cross) went to investigate the tack closet in the Cassadine Stables, but he wasn’t there-all that was left was a broken watch. Austin moved to Port Charles to get away from “the family” and the female boss that he and his cousin, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) had been working for.
At first their base of operations, at least for the Gatlin-Holts, was Pautauk, New York. But apparently it was moved to Port Charles and General Hospital since Mason has moved there since, where it was recently revealed he’s taking care of Nikolas on life support.
GH Spoilers: Still Answering To The Boss, However
However, it’s clear that Mason is not operating on his own, because he was checking in with someone on the phone about Nikolas, and said “Sleeping Beauty” was getting good care. That indicates he was talking to someone who wants Nikolas to live, and possibly someone who cares about him-at least in her own way.
Although the location has not yet been revealed, it may not be far from Spoon Island-perhaps even on The Haunted Star, and the female boss may be Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). Helena would have interest in keeping Stavros Cassadine’s (Robert Kelker Kelly) son alive, since Stavros was her favorite, even though she implicated Nikolas in poisoning her tea.
General Hospital Spoilers: Mason Gatlin Still Wants Austin Gatlin-Holt’s Help
Although someone who obviously knew what they were doing put Nikolas on life support, Mason and the boss, who could be Helena, still want Austin’s help. Maxie, her children, or Ava, or anyone that Mason knows Austin cares about could be in danger if Austin refuses, because Mason will use their safety for leverage. He has before, threatening Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) in the park and trying to converse with her and approached her with candy.
Austin’s friends may never be safe until he starts doing as he’s told for Mason and their boss, whoever she is. But it makes perfect sense now that Helena is returning, that it could be her making sure “Sleeping Beauty” stays alive, and Austin can make sure he does.
