General Hospital Spoilers: Ace Too Much For Kevin And Laura, Elizabeth Adopts Baby Ace?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there may be a time when Kevin and Laura Collins (Jon Lindstrom, Genie Francis) can’t handle raising Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).
The two sixty-something year olds may be less well equipped to be parents to Ace when he gets into his teens, depending on the length of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) sentence.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Backup Plan Is Needed
Right now, Kevin and Laura are fine parenting their baby grandson-step grandson-great nephew in Nikolas’ place, while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is still presumed dead.
Because Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was Kevin’s niece, and he’s married to Laura, it does confuse the family tree a bit for the tot, but it’s a Port Charles thing.
After all, Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) late husband Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was half-brother to both Steven Lars Webber (Scott Reeves) and Esme-quite a twisted family tree for Ace!
But considering their age, Kevin and Laura must make an important decision-a backup plan for Ace in case Nikolas gets a really long sentence. Raising a teenage boy when you’re in your seventies and possibly in failing health by that time isn’t a pleasant prospect to face.
GH Spoilers: Elizabeth Baldwin Had A Soft Spot For Esme Prince
Elizabeth had a soft spot for Esme, especially when she was forced to care for her while Nikolas held her captive in the north tower of Wyndemere.
Elizabeth is a very experienced mother of three boys, although if she were to have another child herself she may would have wanted a girl. But she gets enough substitute mommy and daughter time with her niece Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) who she frequently interacts with, and she has an extra room.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) is away at school although he did return for Spencer’s funeral; she could convert his room into a nursery for Ace if needed. Elizabeth cared for Esme the greatest majority of her pregnancy and would be glad to step up for Ace if needed.
General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Baldwin Lived With Her Grandma As A Teen
Elizabeth lived with her grandma Audrey Baldwin (Rachel Ames) as a teen, and a trying teen at that-she was always getting in some kind of trouble.
Laura and Elizabeth will reconnect this week and the subject of Ace related to Kevin and Laura’s age may come up-Laura will no doubt catch her up on the Nikolas situation.
Elizabeth and Kevin both made some time at Esme’s grave before her birth mother Heather Webber (Alley Mills) showed up in shackles and chains.
Heather approved of Elizabeth to look after Ace, and disapproved of Kevin and Laura-right in front of Kevin. It may be Kevin who suggests they talk to Elizabeth about being Ace’s guardian-if not right away, at least have the paperwork started and in place until after Nikolas’ trial.
