General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Willow’s Health Issues Result Of Drugs Madeline Gave Nina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has been having some major health issues recently. Willow has never been sickly before so this is very concerning. Could Willow’s illness be caused by the drugs Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) was given while she was pregnant?

General Hospital Spoilers – Madeline Reeves Tried To Kill Her Daughter’s Baby

General Hospital Madeline Reeves (ex-Donna Mills) tried to kill Nina Reeves’ children years ago. Madeline was trying to get rid of her daughter as well and blame her death on Nina’s husband, Silas Clay (ex-Michael Easton). However, Madeline’s plan backfired when not only Nina survived but so did her twins. Madeline’s next order of business was to get rid of her daughter’s children since she wasn’t expected to wake up from her coma. Nina was never to know that she had children because Madeline wanted her inheritance. However, after being in a coma for 20 years, Nina woke up. It was years later, thanks to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that Nina discovered she had a child. However, Nina has no idea that there were two babies.

General Hospital Updates – Medications Can Be Very Dangerous To Unborn Babies

General Hospital’s Nina was given a massive dose of medication while she was pregnant. Nelle Benson’s (ex-Chloe Lanier) upbringing was blamed for Nelle’s mental health issues. However, the medication that Madeline gave Nina could have affected both of her children in different ways. Could Willow have some type of organ damage caused by the medications that Madeline gave her years ago? Some tranquilizers have been known to cause congenital heart defects in unborn children. Could Willow have an undiagnosed heart condition caused by the medication Nina was given?

Willow Tait Could Have Undiagnosed Heart Issues

General Hospital’s Willow did not receive a lot of medical care as a child because of her mother’s lifestyle. Harmony took Willow to different groups when she was a child and they lived among these people without adequate health care or housing at times. Willow could have easily grown into adulthood with an undiagnosed condition.

Willow hasn’t had any symptoms until recently that would clue anyone into her problem. If Willow’s condition was bad enough, it could have even led to the death of her son who was adopted by Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau). Is Madeline responsible for Willow’s illness? Can Willow receive treatment to help correct her condition now that she’s an adult?

Willow has no idea about her history before Harmony took her. Is Willow about to find out that her grandmother tried to kill her and her sister? Will Madeline’s drugs kill Willow in the end?

  • Can GH GET REAL WRITERS SERIOUSLY NOW Willow has health issues after years of not being sick if Willow was sick from Nina's drugs it would have happened at birth. Plus How would Phyllis even know Nelle was even her daughter she wasn't even there she is taking a word out of a mentally unstable person Nina's mother who was never in her right mind. And Nina and Nelle aren't even the same age

    • I’m thinking you probably mean that Nelle and Willow aren’t the same age?
I do think that this whole Nelle and Willow are twins, and now suddenly Willow suddenly has an illness that she was born with but now suddenly shows up?…… Yeah, I think it’s quite a stretch too. They seem to think if they milk it enough or put enough of a spin on it anything will work….WRONG!!
These writers seem totally unaware of these storylines that don’t tie in with any of the history over what has happened throughout the years. An example…..Sonny and Nina….after what Nina did to Ava (and Sonny it involved his baby) and then kidnapping the baby. The true Sonny would never be shacking up with her, defending her and going against his entire family. Yes, Sonny had amnesia but they never gave an inkling that he also had brain damage because that’s about the only way to explain the weak, frumpy, unkempt and pathetic Sonny who now certainly isn’t the strong smart and attractive and family loving and protective Sonny that took years to develop on screen. He’s completely gone!!!

  • Again how could a comatose person have natural childbirth, a cesarean Nina would have scars

  • Finally please let Spencer catch Esme with that pill & put an end to this dragged out storyline. It’s old & annoying !! Catch Ryan once & for all . Let Spencer & Trina find friendship . He seems to be trying to be better person & one day friends wit Ava!
Now Willow is a mess but hopefully discover her illness & get treatments . End this Nibs Sonny thing though I know Maurice likes the change of pace & storylines after all these years . But, hope he goes back to Carly as I enjoy them together believe it or not . They’re a constant and have different storylines & chemistry . Just me .

  • Sometimes drugs given during pre-natal times don't always manifest right away. My daughter was prematurely born when I was 71/2 months pregnant. She had very undeveloped lungs and kidneys and other problems. In normal circumstances back in 1978 she would not have made it. We were in Germany when she was born and they had an exceptional neo-natal unit for preemies. They gave her experimental drugs that they didn't have in the USA at the time. Those drugs were new but they saved her life at the time. The catch was we were told that in the future there could be issues with her lungs and kidney's. We DID NOT care. We wanted our daughter to live. That being said, these medical problems for Nell and Willow make sense to me.

    • Thank you? for sharing your baby birth...im happy she's alright? and prays ?she continue to have wonderful life with no health issues???...Stay Blessed ???loving family?...and soap operas do mirror real life at times?
