General Hospital’s Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) and Wes Ramsey (Peter August) often share their adventures on Social Media. However, after four years together, why does Ramsey say he is so thankful to have Laura in his life?
You’re My Best Friend
General Hospital’s Ramsey often refers to Wright as his best friend. The closeness in their relationship has never been a secret as they praise each other on social media constantly. Ramsey said recently, “When you find the balance of laughter and trust, the freedom to embody and empower your truth, that best friend, listener and reflection of what feels magical about life, know that you’ve arrived where you were always meant to be, but also believe that you deserve to be there, Thank you for helping me to see the best man that I could be.” Laura is always referring to Ramsey as her “handsome fella” and praising him constantly. Laura and Wes have known each other much longer than the four years they have been together.
Four Years On G.H.
Wes also recently celebrated his four-year anniversary on General Hospital as Peter August as well. Wes thanked all the fans who have stuck by him during his run as Peter as well. However, Peter has just as many fans who want him dead as those who want the character redeemed. After all, Peter kept Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) captive for five years and that alone is a reason for Jason to take him out. Fans of Jason tend to not be fans of Peter. Peter is also trying to kidnap Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as well. Peter’s fanbase is getting slim.
Working Together On G.H.
Working together on General Hospital has made some fans question if there will be a pairing between Carly and Peter. However, if written true to character, Carly would have a rough time being with Peter after everything he has done to Jason. Currently, Peter is still trying to kill Jason and could have actually caused his death in a recent explosion. Laura and Wes haven’t had many scenes together because they don’t run in the same circles. Carly doesn’t make a habit of hanging out with Peter’s type.
Although Wes and Laura don’t spend a lot of time together on the show, they certainly seem to enjoy themselves while they aren’t working. Wes and Laura have posted several adventures on their social media that fans have found interesting. It is wonderful to see this happy couple and we wish them many more years together.
