General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that as shown in a recent General Hospital leak, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will need to have surgery while overseas with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)! This will likely be while they are on the hunt for Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), or both since the cases seem to be connected.
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine And Anna Devane Go On The Hunt
General Hospital viewers will recall that several developments came up in recent General Hospital episodes regarding the searches for Drew, Liesl, and Peter August (Wes Ramsey). General Hospital viewers will recall that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had reached out to Anna for the WSB file on Drew’s case regarding his plane crash in which he was presumed to have died. After going through the file, considered a cold case by the WSB with a fine-tooth comb along with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) a missing detail was discovered which also linked Drew’s disappearance to the murder of Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham). The link was a person traveling with Drew connected to the parent company of the Crichton-Clark clinic, Lethe International. Meanwhile, Peter again shows up at the Tan-O after searching for Liesl, threatening Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for sending him on a wild goose chase! Valentin and Anna could be overseas searching for either Liesl, Drew, or Peter since episodes are filmed six to eight weeks ahead.
General Hospital Updates – Valentin Cassadine Has An Issue And He And Anna Devane Seek Assistance At A US Consulate
This piece of leaked script for General Hospital does not specify the reason for Valentin and Anna to be overseas or the reason Valentin will need surgery. The scene is very short, they are at a US Consulate seeking assistance for a medical issue. It is doubtful that Valentin’s medical issue is a ruse as the US Consul Doctor refers to him as “Mr. Cassadine”. If this future General Hospital scenario was a ruse where Valentin and Anna were undercover, they would use cover names. Apparently the country where they are at the time has a US Consulate, but it is not advanced enough to have the medical knowledge or facilities that Valentin’s diagnosis requires! The US Consulate Doctor tells Anna he wishes he could – the implication being he wishes he could perform the necessary surgery. The doctor goes on to explain that their facilities are not equipped for surgery that delicate, and advises that he undergo exploratory surgery at a hospital in the United States. Anna nods, thanks to the doctor, and looks at Valentin, undoubtedly with concern.
Valentin Cassadine Could Need Surgery For A Gunshot Wound, Or Something Else
General Hospital viewers know that if Valentin and Anna are on the hunt overseas, there is a possibility that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) could be influencing the US Consul Doctor. Victor and Valentin undoubtedly know of one another, considering that Valentin grew up thinking Victor was his uncle until he found out his mother was Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) but his father wasn’t Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos)! If the doctor is either not the real US Consul Doctor or he’s on the take and controlled by Victor, then the ruse may be on the part of the doctor, discouraging Valentin and Anna’s search. General Hospital viewers know that if Valentin has to have surgery in the United States, he and Anna cannot complete their search overseas! Valentin could have been shot but it is unlikely unless the facilities where they are at are so primitive they don’t even have x-ray machines to find a bullet. If the doctor is a legitimate US Consul Doctor, then Valentin apparently develops some serious pain internally for which a source cannot be found!
