General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that half of Port Charles is involved in the search for Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). But Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) has a very personal reason to want to locate the missing women. Shawn was convicted of trying to kill Hayden once, because he pled guilty. But he was innocent and upon his release, he wants to bring the real killer to justice. The truth is that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was the one who ordered the hit, but he may or may not be responsible for her current disappearance.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hayden Barns survived Nikolas Cassadine’s murder plot!
Although Hayden survived Nikolas’ attempted murder, she has disappeared twice since then. The first time she went on the run but eventually returned claiming to be involved with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). In truth, Hayden was working with Jax and Nikolas to help locate the codicil to Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) will. The codicil returned all of Cassadine assets to Nikolas. But Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) didn’t want to give up the Cassadine fortune and suspected Hayden was up to no good. So he threatened her and Nikolas arranged for her to disappear once again. This was almost two years ago now.
GH Spoilers – Shawn Blakemore will want to know what Jasper “Jax” Jacks knows!
No one seems to know what happened to Hayden after that. It’s possible that Nikolas has been working with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) all along. He may be keeping Hayden captive just down the hall from where he has been holding Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson). But Shawn will want to start with Jax. Since Jax and Hayden pretended to be involved for a short time, it stands to reason that he may have helped her.
General Hospital Spoilers – Hayden Barnes’ mother was murdered!
Jax will certainly give Shawn whatever information he can. He has stated before that he looked into her disappearance but couldn’t locate her. Interestingly, Hayden’s mother recently showed up in Port Charles, but was murdered before she could tell Shawn and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) if she had heard from Hayden recently. Although she left a cryptic clue. When she mentioned Hayden, she used the wrong middle name which Sam picked up on. So while Sam is in Monte Carlo pursuing another lead, Shawn may get a clue from his questioning of Jax.
