General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal when Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) agreed to help Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) during an interview with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), it was all in an effort to help find out anything he might know about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Sure, she doesn’t mind prancing around Ryan knowing he can’t touch her, and she loves every chance she gets to remind him of that. Still, Ava wants Esme behind bars; so the sooner she can help the police find her, the better, as far as she’s concerned. She has no idea, of course, that her husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is holding Esme hostage — and protecting her at the same time.
General Hospital Spoilers — “Esme Was Planning To Target Nikolas”
Rumor has it Ryan plans to send the police on a wild goose chase that still leads to Nikolas’ door. When he tells them Esme talked often about targeting Nikolas, he knows the first place the police will head to is Wyndemere. While he’s not trying to lead the police to Esme, he is trying to startle Nikolas — and Ava. He wants to make her worry that his dear Nikolas is up to no good, and ultimately, he wants Ava to find out Esme is pregnant by her husband. Any time Ava is furious with Nikolas, Ryan feels it may benefit him in some way.
General Hospital Updates – Ryan Wants Ava To Think Esme Is No Threat To Her
Ava is awfully confident when she prances around Ryan with the assurance that he can’t touch her or even talk back when she speaks. Ryan doesn’t actually want Ava to feel bothered by Esme’s presence though. He wants her to feel like Esme is no threat to her so that it will sting that much more when Ava finds out Esme is having a child with Nikolas.
But He Is
Ryan can see the vitriol Ava has for his daughter in her eyes. A normal man might take that personally and wish that the woman he loved also shared a love for his child. We’re talking about a real psychopath here though; does anyone really think Ryan loves Esme? His obsession with Ava is what fuels him to stay in contact with his daughter and let her do his bidding for him. He’s getting something out of the exchange, even if at times it was just seeing how much of a monster his child is, just like him. Ryan has a way of making Ava feel unnerved by him even when he’s locked in and locked up — and that’s all he wants her to take away from this engagement.
