Dante was supportive through Alexis Davis’ rock bottom alcoholic binge. Alexis had shown no signs of even wanting to quit drinking until a heated exchange between her daughter Sam and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was convincing enough to Alexis in her drunken state that she picked up a syringe loaded with Lidocaine (although Alexis had no idea what it was at the time) and ran toward Franco with the intent to inject Franco and save her daughter. Not able to fully trust his actions when he returned he checked himself into the WSB Treatment Facility located in Geneva, Switzerland. But unknown to anyone, Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) was transferred there as well and convinced Dante’s doctor to keep his programming but let her control him with a click of her pen.
The doctor complied and Dante soon returned to the states with O’Brecht following as soon as Dante found proof that she had been framed for the crimes she had been arrested for.
