General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the annual gala Nurses Ball is set to take place in Port Charles, New York, and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is beside herself, being “dead” and all. This means she can’t be host, have a thousand gown changes, a million faux pas, and ogle the dancing beefcake.
Has Lucy ever taken no for an answer—you know that answer to that GH fans. So the fireworks will explode after Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) told her that Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are in charge this year.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Nurses Ball
Lucy doesn’t trust Bobbie and Maxie to handle what she considers her baby—and it’s fair to say that under her hand the Ball has always been spectacular. Lucy escapes from the safe house and goes straight to the Metro Court. She’s incognito but her ditzy and sometimes clumsy behavior could give her away when she sees Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) at the bar.
Lucy knows that Victor tried to kill her but he doesn’t know that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) also survived and the three are plotting against him.
General Hospital Updates – Lucy Coe Is Not Subtle
Can former librarian Lucy handle her emotions and stay undercover? Let’s just say she employs a giant menu to hide behind as she snoops. Not obvious at all.
Lucy eavesdrops on Maxie and Bobbie talking about the Nurses Ball and thinks they’re doing it all wrong and she has to curb her impulse to take them to task. Instead, later Lucy ambushes Maxie at Deception shocking poor Maxie.
Lucy Goes Undercover
No doubt Maxie will be pleased that Lucy is alive, but not thrilled that she tries to take over planning for the Nurses Ball. As soon as Anna finds out that Lucy has escaped she will go looking for her and she knows where Lucy is headed given her displeasure with the Nurses Ball.
Lucy has taken a huge risk as Victor is not a man to be trifled with and Anna knows this. He did give Lucy a sweet diamond necklace at one time so maybe she thinks she can tame the beast? Lucy is playing a dangerous game and Victor has never had so little to lose. Will Lucy risk her life just so she can be part of the Nurses Ball? Stranger things have happened in Port Charles!
