General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Liesl Awakens In A Lab, Peter Forces Her To Brainwash Maxie?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will awaken in a lab in an upcoming episode of General Hospital, and she’ll realize that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) intends to force her to brainwash Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht Was Kidnapped For A Reason By Victor Cassadine But Peter August Has His Own Reason

General Hospital viewers will recall that when Liesl was first kidnapped, she found herself the captive of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) her former lover who was still obsessed with her! General Hospital viewers later saw him reveal to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that he is his birth father and only going along with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as a show – he claimed he’d been working with him but really wanted him killed!

Victor was right about one thing – if Peter had been his operative, he’s become a turncoat – and re-kidnapped Liesl after drugging her. He also activated Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) programming after he’d claimed to Victor that he had been unable so far to find the key! The key turned out to be a tarot card with a tower on it. This time, Liesl finds herself awakening in a lab – one she remembers and recognizes. It is the lab on Cassadine Island that Helena Cassadine, (Constance Towers) and possibly Victor once ran there.

General Hospital Spoilers – Many Experiments Were Performed In This Lab

Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that many experiments were performed in this lab – Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) weather machine that ran on the “Ice Princess”, a large diamond was located here. The lab where Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly) was held in stasis and later resurrected was there, only for Stavros to kidnap Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) and freeze her, hoping to recreate his lost love, her mother Laura Spencer (Genie Francis).

This is different from the Crichton-Clark Clinic, it is on Cassadine Island itself. Cassadine Island’s lab is probably where Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) was created using Lulu’s frozen egg as well. Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that the lab on Cassadine Island was known for risky and bizarre experiments, including the creation of the dangerous Chimera that Valentin grabbed out of Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) hands just in time at a Nurses’ Ball where he was going to use it in a magic act!

General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht Realizes Peter August Has The Brainwashing Technology Used On Dante Falconeri

General Hospital viewers will see that Liesl realized that Peter has obtained the brainwashing technology used on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and he intends to use it on her! Liesl also realizes he’s using it on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) but in concert with residual brainwashing previously installed in him by Helena! General Hospital viewers will recall that Drew once had a computer chip in his brain that Helena had used to control him, and that Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) had removed when he first came to Port Charles as “Jake Doe” and later was thought to be his twin, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Liesl wishes she’d killed Peter when she had a chance, back when she had him captive in a cabin, instead of merely torturing him!

Peter hisses at her that the only reason she is alive now is because he needs her to accomplish his purposes – apparently he doesn’t know how to perform the brainwashing, only how to activate it! Liesl is livid as he reveals her mission is to brainwash Maxie so that she will get Louise Jones (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) from wherever she has hidden her, and go with him willingly to parts unknown!
