General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Laura Is Childless In Port Charles — But Not For Long
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is about to feel a whole lot lonelier than she ever thought possible. Facing the death of her son, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), is going to bring Laura to her knees. She’s a strong woman who has endured quite a lot over the years, but nothing prepared her for truly losing Nikolas this time around. When she went through this in the past, she had to make peace with his “death” knowing she had to be there for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) afterward. Now, she’s going to look to do much the same with the newest addition to the family.
General Hospital Spoilers — Laura Collins’ Children Are Down And Out
Laura has lost one son to the causes he loves on the other side of the world. Lucy Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) has chosen a life outside of Port Charles for himself and never comes home. Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is in a coma and can’t come home. Nikolas Cassadine has officially gone home. What is Laura going to do without her children to keep her company and give her a real purpose in life? Sure, she has a loving husband in Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), but he has his own career and they’ve both found their groove in living separate lives that only seem to merge in the evenings. Without her children in her day-to-day life, the Mayor might have entirely too much time on her hands.
General Hospital Updates – Esme Prince Isn’t
Of course, Laura’s kids might be down for the count, but Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) child isn’t. Her baby is about to make his or her grand debut, and Esme couldn’t be more terrified. She’s a fugitive on the run with two convicted psychopathic killers. What’s the worst that could happen? It’s about a certainty that Esme will be carted off to Spring Ridge again, and perhaps somewhere with even stronger security, like Pentonville. She will likely be separated from her birth parents — Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) — as well. With all of them in lock-up, who is going to take care of Baby Cassadine?
Will Laura Collins Step In?
This baby will be all that Laura has left of Nikolas, next to Spencer. Prior to Nikolas’ death, Spencer was exploring the idea of raising the baby himself just so he or she wouldn’t be exposed to Nikolas’ toxic parenting, but now that Nik isn’t a part of the equation anymore, Spencer might change his tune. Besides, there is good reason to believe much of Spencer’s motive in going for custody was just to stick it to his dearly departed dad. Will Mayor Collins and her doctor hubby be kind enough to take the reins and make sure that Esme’s baby is well cared for in Nikolas’ absence? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
