General Hospital spoilers tease that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will plot and scheme when she makes an unexpected new discovery in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Just Because The Gravy Train’s Cut Off Doesn’t Mean Gladys Corbin Won’t Dine At The Metro Court
General Hospital viewers will recall from a recent episode of General Hospital that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) cut off Gladys’ gravy train as well as her blackmail. Brook Lynn and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had attempted to mitigate any damage Gladys might cause by telling what she knew – namely, that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) wasn’t “Bailey Quartermaine’s” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom ) birth father. They paid a Metro Court bartender, Kip Morris (Artie O’Daly) to play a well-dressed thug named “Paulie” and also Bailey’s real birth father.
Kip played his part well, and even mobster lover Gladys found him very intimidating! Brook Lynn got her credit card back from Gladys and made sure the recording was deleted from her phone where Brook Lynn had talked to Maxie about worrying about Valentin’s feelings when he found out he wasn’t Bailey’s birth father. Of course, viewers knew there was more to it, that Bailey is really Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) being hidden in plain sight! It’s doubtful that Gladys told the truth about deleting all the copies, and it’s just as doubtful that she will cease dining at the ritzy Metro Court!
General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Already Has A Mark For Paying Her Meals At The Metro Court
General Hospital viewers will recall that Gladys already had a mark for paying her meals at the Metro Court, when she cozied up to Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and made a good impression on him with the plant she gave him as a gift! She wanted to go to the Metro Court for drinks with him – probably thinking he’d pay – after drawing him out about his situation with giving up his fight to be recognized as a Quartermaine.
Shortly after she left, he saw a curious situation – Maxie paying money to a man at General Hospital who he may have recognized as the Metro Court bartender. This will get his curiosity up and he’ll certainly ask Maxie about the scenario. She’ll probably just tell him the same thing she told Kip, that she was giving him money for his medical bills because he’d hurt his hand, and that he is an old friend. That will certainly endear Maxie to Austin even more, but Austin won’t be the only one who recognizes Kip – so will Gladys when Austin takes her up on her offer!
General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Will Likely See Kip Morris Bartending And Suggest Another Venue
General Hospital viewers can expect that the way Gladys figures out that “Paulie” was a ruse is when she sees him bartending at the Metro Court – this may be when and if Austin takes her up on drinks. If Austin is along she’ll probably change her mind and suggest another venue, maybe The Savoy. General Hospital viewers will then see Gladys making even more outrageous demands of Brook Lynn, after busting her with her discovery that “Paulie” was Kip the bartender! She’ll demand shares of Deception Cosmetics which Brook Lynn of course, will deny!
But this time, there will be no more blackmail and no more threats. Gladys will place a call to Valentin and General Hospital viewers can expect she’ll pull out her secret copy of Brook Lynn and Maxie’s conversation! Brook Lynn will be royally busted, but Bailey’s true identity will likely not come out just yet. There’s a good chance that Austin will figure that out, if not Valentin himself eventually or both of them when they compare notes. Gladys doesn’t realize she’s dealing with an expert spy in Valentin!
