General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has had a lot on her plate these past few months. First, her husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was murdered by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Then her son, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) aimed a gun at Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), who was a suspect in Franco’s murder. Things didn’t calm down for poor Elizabeth after all that. She worked tirelessly with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to help find a cure for Finn’s brother, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) who Peter had poisoned.

Finn was in a rage after everything Peter had done, so he threw him down a back staircase at General Hospital, seemingly killing him. Elizabeth happened on the scene and when neither she nor Finn could find any signs of life, they teamed up to hide Peter’s body in the sub-basement at General Hospital. Peter wasn’t actually dead and made his way to freedom, but Elizabeth and Finn weren’t aware of that for months.

Elizabeth and Finn bonded over their secret and have continued to grow closer as time goes by. Up until now, Elizabeth hasn’t been ready to move on romantically after her husband’s death. But the more time she spends with Finn, the more she wants to see if they might have a bit of romance in their future. Finn seems very interested in pursuing things with Elizabeth as well, so it won’t be long before they finally throw caution to the wind and make love.

But even if the couple does end up romantically involved, there will likely be a few obstacles! Elizabeth’s sister, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), is also the mother of Finn’s young daughter. Hayden has been missing for quite awhile now, but seems poised to return to Port Charles at some point in the near future. And then there is Elizabeth’s father, Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson), with whom Elizabeth hasn’t spoken in years. Recently, he has been trying to reach Elizabeth. If Jeff shows up in Port Charles, it could ruin anything between Finn and Elizabeth!

I think Liz would be best paired with Drew Caine. Her kids love and adore him and she once loved him when she thought he was Jason. He in turn has feelings for her and her kids as well being he was with her once and has Jasons memories. Plus he would keep her and the kids safest from Peter.
I don't think anyone will really replace Franco
