General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Did Victor Order Drew To Attack Ava?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has no recollection of attacking Ava Jerome (Maura West) the night of the Quartermaine fundraiser. However, as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) pointed out, Drew was certainly putting suspicion on himself by his actions. Could Drew have been ordered to attack Ava and have no memory of that mission?

General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Holds All The Cards

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Victor Cassadine knows what triggers Drew’s programming. However, Jason Morgan (ex-Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) found out how to deactivate him as well. When Victor was set up to be arrested for trying to force Drew to work for him, the sting was interrupted. This means that Victor still has the means to activate Drew. Of course, the cards were changed but that doesn’t mean Victor hasn’t figured out the truth.

As Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) pointed out, Victor would not get his hands dirty trying to get rid of Ava. However, Victor would send one of his men to take care of her in a heartbeat. Drew would be the obvious choice because he wouldn’t look out of place. Drew knows the surroundings. Drew was already at the boathouse. Drew is also very efficient. Drew would be the ideal person to carry out this attack and get by with it.

General Hospital Updates – Victor Cassadine Could Be Framing Someone Else

Victor wants to make sure the Cassadines stick together so he could easily be making one Cassadine look guilty while pushing the other to cover for him. Spencer believes someone is framing him while Nikolas looks guiltier by the minute. Did Nikolas truly attack Ava or does he believe someone close to him did?

Drew could be ordered to make it look as though both Nikolas and Spencer are guilty to pull the family together in Victor’s mind. After all, Victor isn’t going to let Nikolas know that he had Ava attacked. However, did Victor not recently suggest they needed to get rid of Ava? Could anyone put ordering her death past Victor? Why not use a Quartermaine to do it, that would make perfect sense at their charity event. No one would suspect anyone in the Quartermaine family.

Drew Cain Could Not Realize Any Of This

Drew has attacked people before and had no recollection that he was missing time at all. Drew spent some time with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) but they had parted ways for a bit. Could Drew have left Carly and attacked Ava? Could Drew still be under Victor’s control with no knowledge of it?

Drew could clearly be a danger to anyone involved if he was programmed to do so. Will the truth come out about Ava’s attacker and Drew being the culprit? Drew can’t really be charged for something done while brainwashed so he would probably end up in a mental facility. Will Drew be revealed as the attacker in the end?
