General Hospital Spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is growing tired of Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) antics as she struggles to find a lead on either of his major cases. His investigation into The Hook has only been further muddied by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) turning up hypothermic and claiming not to remember anything about her life. Without any semblance of guilt or testimony from Esme, Dante has been forced to stall the investigation while looking for other potential suspects because The Hook is very likely to have been someone who is seven months pregnant. His investigation into Esme’s whereabouts for the last six months has also dried up, and her memory loss means she’s got good coverage for not implicating herself in any more crimes. Still, her ties to the revenge porn case she tried to frame Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for are strong enough to prosecute her once she’s in stable condition, physically. Dante is going to need Heather’s help to better understand Esme though if he has any shot at figuring out why she has targeted any of these people.

Heather promised Dante, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) the scoop on Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) relationship with Esme. She’s yet to deliver the goods though, and Dante is getting tired of waiting around. Feeling like she’s just stalling in order to stay at Spring Ridge — a lesser security prison, he may threaten to send Heather back to D’Archem soon if she doesn’t come up with something that is going to be helpful to him.

Will Heather make up other leads to send Dante on a wild goose chase, or is she secretly hoping she can get Ryan out of the way so that she can have their daughter and grandchild all to herself? Ryan and Heather clearly have a love-hate relationship and don’t entirely trust one another, but their shared goal is seeing to it that their kin is safe. Will Heather roll over on Ryan and tell Dante he is Esme’s birth father just to stay in Spring Ridge where she can keep busting loose as she sees fit?
Heather Webber Might Stay In The Dark, On Purpose
When Ryan realizes the police know about his connection to Esme and that he is her birth father, he may or may not suspect that they learned it via Heather. Still, he won’t be in a position to argue that it’s best to expose her either — not if they want to keep Esme safe.
Heather could easily manipulate this situation and get Ryan to agree that it’s best if the police never know about Heather’s attachment to Esme because it will keep her removed from the investigation and able to act in Esme’s favor when the opportunity strikes. What does this mean for Dante? He’s going to be duped by Heather, which his mother could tell him is a very dangerous place to be.
