General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain), had to say goodbye to his mother. A few weeks before this announcement, Cameron reported that his very own cancer report was clear, but his mother was trying hard to battle brain cancer herself.
Cameron’s mother was a huge supporter of Cameron when he had kidney cancer. They were right there for one another when they both had to battle horrible cancer. Mathison who was battling kidney cancer himself took a vow to his mother that he would always be there for her. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2019.
Cameron posted on social media the other day about his mother passing away. He expressed how much he loved his mother. General Hospital’s Carly (Laura Wright), sent her thoughts and love over to Cameron.

Alicia Minshew, who played Kendall, on One Life To Live with Mathison expressed how much she loved Cameron and his mother. You can tell that Mathison and his mother are loved and adored in the soap opera community. It is very sweet and makes you feel good when so many people love and care about Mathison like these actors do.
Mathison had other friends reach out to him on social media as well. Lacey Chabert sent her prayers to the family as well. Danica McKellar shared some heartfelt words to Cameron on social media too. She mentioned being a mom to a son and she knows how that love is so strong.

Cameron was very close to his mother and they were both each other’s biggest fans. They were always with one another, especially during their cancer battles. They never left one another’s sides during these times.
