General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Cam Encourages Spencer To Stay Above Board With Esme — Will He Listen?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) will prop Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) up in hopes of making him see that there are better ways to take Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) down without playing dirty. Whether Esme is feigning her memory loss or not, she’s out of Spring Ridge and working to make a better life for herself and her son, Ace Cassadine. He might be Spencer’s baby brother, but he isn’t his child. Esme’s rights trump everyone else’s right now, and if Spencer hopes to have any luck thwarting her custody rights, he’s got to keep this clean.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine Has A History of Doing Things the Cassadine Way

Spencer often thinks he’s above the law — a lesson taught to him well by his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), and now his uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). Growing up, Spencer was given the red carpet treatment at boarding school, spoiled by his father and grandmother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and never really held accountable for anything he did wrong. His way or the highway has worked out for him most of the time, so he might suffer from a blind spot in thinking it will now, too.

General Hospital Updates – Cam Webber Comes From A Better Upbringing

Cam is a bit more experienced in not getting his way, and dealing with it without having a tantrum. He knows how to move on with life even if things don’t pan out the way he had hoped — as is the case since his break-up with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy). Cam may have lacked a father figure for most of his life thus far, but it appears his mom was able to make up for it. Spencer, on the other hand, suffered more effects being raised by such a selfish father and lacking a mother. Cam also has the experience of having two younger brothers he’d do anything for. He knows how Spencer feels, but impulsivity won’t get him anywhere, nor will demands.

Cam Webber Gleans Insight

When Cam stopped by Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) place looking for Spencer, he bumped into Esme instead. She looked like she was ready to skip town with Spencer’s baby brother in tow, and Cam managed to convince her to stick around. By warming Esme to the idea that she was being given a second chance and no one was holding the past against her as harshly as they could, she just might come around enough to start trusting Spencer. Will Spencer let that go to his head and take full advantage of it, or might Cam be able to convince him that’s not actually in his best interest? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
