General Hospital Spoilers: Scott Confides in Laura — and Liesl Doesn’t Like It

General Hospital spoilers reveal Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has found a soft place to land with Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Their friendship was cemented long before Scott found love with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and Laura has never been anything but respectful about their union. So when Liesl reacts poorly to Scott sharing his feelings about her with Laura, it’s not going to bode well for their relationship. Liesl is leaving Scott in a difficult position where he feels like he may have to choose between Liesl and Elizabeth, both of whom he loves dearly.

General Hospital Spoilers — Liesl is Fuming

When Liesl found out Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was responsible for helping Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) hold Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hostage, she drew lines where there were none. She instantly felt betrayed by Scott that he would dare help Elizabeth secure her freedom in turn for rolling over on Nikolas.

They should both be in prison as far as she’s concerned. In her mind, had they not been keeping Esme’s whereabouts to themselves, the PCPD would have known she wasn’t The Hook and would have been able to tailor their investigation better to catch Heather Webber (Alley Mills). In theory, that could have prevented Heather from killing Liesl’s daughter, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

GH Spoilers Ask What About Elizabeth?

It would be a death wish to tell Liesl she’s reaching; Scott won’t go there. But he is concerned that his efforts to make amends with Liesl will ultimately end up costing him his relationship with Elizabeth, whom he cherishes as if she were actually his daughter, not just his daughter-in-law. Elizabeth is worried she has lost Scott forever, and Liesl may see to it that she does. When Scott confesses his concerns about this to Laura, Liesl is going to catch wind of it. Oops!

General Hospital Spoilers — Scott is in a Tough Spot

Obviously, Scott didn’t intend for Liesl to hear the candid way he spoke about her feelings to Laura, but she won’t hear him out otherwise anyway. He doesn’t want to lose Liesl, but he also can’t imagine giving up his relationship with Elizabeth and her boys. They are such a big reminder of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) for him that helps to keep him alive in their hearts. Can’t Liesl possibly understand that through all of her grief? It appears not.
