General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Briana Lane Premieres New Music

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Briana Lane never got to sing on General Hospital when she was moonlighting as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). However, Briana recently released new music for her fans to enjoy.

General Hospital Spoilers – Briana Lane’s Singing Voice Wasn’t Heard On GH

General Hospital’s Briana Lane stepped in just in time for Brook Lynn to deal with a slashed throat when she filled in for Amanda Setton on maternity leave. Therefore, fans never got to hear Briana belt out any of the songs that Brook Lynn should have been singing on the show. Now fans have the chance to listen to Briana on their own since she has released new music for fans including those who wanted to hear her on GH. Brook Lynn was scheduled to sing at the Nurse’s Ball right before Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) slashed her throat almost killing her. What did GH fans miss when they were cheated out of that opportunity? Briana and her partner Darian Zahedi formed an indie pop/rock duo. In spring 2021, their debut track was featured in an episode of Mindy Kaling’s coming-of-age series NEVER HAVE I EVER on Netflix.

General Hospital Updates  – Briana Lane Doesn’t Stick To One Genre

General Hospital’s Briana has continued to act while making music. Briana is a part of another indie-pop group called “Winslow” with Katie Miner. “Origami Tiger,” the last single off their self-titled EP was featured in the indie film Luce, starring Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer. Briana recently played a doctor to aliens in American Horror Story as well. Briana has yet to release a video to the song “Either Way” however, the tune is quite catchy and easy to listen to.

Some Fans Wanted Briana Lane To Stay

Some General Hospital fans certainly wanted Briana to stick around G.H. even when Amanda came back from maternity leave. Perhaps General Hospital executives should remember that this girl can sing and invite her back as an act at the next Nurse’s Ball if we get to see another one. It is a shame that Briana’s music wasn’t featured while she was on the show but this could certainly make up for that. Several GH alum has gone on to become music legends. Stars such as Rick Springfield, Jack Wagner, and John Stamos to name a few. Could Briana return for a visit in the future? Perhaps we may need a Brook Lynn fill-in again but Briana should be able to return on her own merits.
