General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Brando Feigns Ignorance When Threatened For Intel By Cyrus

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will feign ignorance when threatened for intel by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Since Sonny Corinthos’ Disappearance, Brando Corbin Is Not So Out Of The Loop As One Would Think

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are the ones who recruited Brando to spy on Cyrus and report back to them. Just because Sonny is presumed dead and there has been a funeral, it doesn’t mean that Brando isn’t reporting back to Jason.

Right now Cyrus’ biggest goal isn’t related to taking over and moving in on Sonny’s territory, it is finding his missing mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott). By this time, Martin Grey (Michael E.Knight) knows she is okay because he was given a burner phone to talk to her on but he may or may not bring his drug lord brother into the loop, because he just upsets Florence anyway.

Cyrus would be leaning on Martin hard to get a chance to talk to Florence on that phone! Brando is not entirely out of the loop of what is going on because he still reports to Jason, and he knows Jason is claiming responsibility. But he has no idea where Florence is, and no idea that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is the one really behind the “kidnapping”. So he knows something, but not enough to be helpful.

However, Cyrus is intent on pushing the envelope and again threatens Brando and holds him and his mother Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) knowledge of Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) being an illegal immigrant and Sonny’s having papers faked for him over his head! Cyrus also insinuates that he may have Brando’s mother kidnapped if Brando doesn’t give him the location where Florence is being held!

General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin Feigns Ignorance Of The Whole Situation

Brando feigns ignorance of the whole kidnapping situation – and lends a sympathetic ear to Cyrus in spite of his threats. What else could he do? Brando has tried to explain to Cyrus that just because he was distantly related to Sonny it doesn’t mean he’s working for Jason or that he worked for Sonny. Cyrus finds it hard to believe. Brando just recently found out that Martin is Cyrus’ brother – it’s not like they are really close, why should Brando be buddy- buddy with Sonny and his people who are distant cousins at the most?

Yes, Sonny gave him a garage to work in but it was actually Jason’s, and Jason is too busy to work on motorcycles anymore so it was just a situation of keeping the property occupied and Brando had happily accepted the job. Brando manages to get Cyrus calmed down a little as they have a couple of beers. Cyrus really isn’t a beer man but he obliges Brando when he offers.

Brando finally gets Cyrus out of threat and panic mode as he tells him he could drop in on the Corinthos family as a courtesy in the aftermath of Sonny’s funeral to make sure everybody is doing okay, and in the meantime do a little surveillance to see if he can find out anything about Florence. Brando is walking a fine line as he’s acting like a double agent, but his loyalties remain to the Corinthoses, not to Cyrus. He’s just got to keep him fooled until he’s taken down!
