General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Cassadine (Maura West) will receive an ominous package with gruesome contents in it at her art studio in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – It All Started With A Cockroach

General Hospital viewers will recall that it all started with a cockroach! Ava was celebrating with her husband Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) at the PC Grille. They had decided to officially turn their business deal marriage into a real one after they realized they were truly in love with each other. Nikolas had even gotten down on bended knee at General Hospital in front of his mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and everybody there at the time and proposed marriage! But then a strange gift was brought by the waiter, and a card as well.

The gift and card were specifically addressed to Ava, not she and Nikolas as a couple, and it turned out to be a cockroach in a display case with a strange message on the card saying that like cockroaches, only the sender and Ava survive! Since then, she has received more packages and more messages with the packages and each one more bizarre and more morbid than the other!

Nikolas and she have been trying to figure out who has been sending them, even having suspected Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) of sending them, thinking they could be bizarre mob messages! Their first thought was Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) but they have been assured that he is no threat because he’s not able to move or speak. They don’t even have guards and he’s in a room in the prison infirmary. Cyrus denied Nikolas’ accusations. Ava left for her art gallery.

General Hospital Spoilers – It Can’t Be Ryan Chamberlain – Or Can It?

Ava arrives at the gallery to find another package and card addressed to her! It’s not ticking, but she’s a little nervous about opening it anyway. Ava decides to open the card first, and it is cryptic, but it instructs her to open the package to find the rest of the message! Now she is really creeped out – it’s like whoever is doing this is watching her right then but she knows that is impossible! How would they know she would open the card first? She takes a deep breath and finds a box within a box, with a note on top. Hmmm—again, it says to open the package.

She finally opens the package to find something wrapped in a large piece of paper – a rather dirty one. She opens it up to find a dead rat! She notices the inside of the paper the rat carcass was wrapped in has a message, of letters cut from a newspaper or magazine and pasted on. It says, “This is for ratting me out”! Ava is horrified – if this is not Ryan, then Ryan apparently has a copycat and the copycat is focusing in on her!

As for the rat, it looks like someone was trying to slice it to make sushi with it, but at least they wrapped it in plastic! Ava, after calming down, reasons if they had not wrapped it the package wouldn’t have gotten to her because the rat’s blood would have leaked through. Now this is really serious. Ava and Nikolas have been trying to handle this themselves but she has to take this to the police, whether Nikolas likes it or not!
