General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will visit Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in jail at Pentonville Prison in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. Will she update him on her “basement guest” while she’s there?
General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane And Valentin Cassadine Had A Surprise For Peter August
General Hospital viewers will recall that Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had cooked up a plan to keep Peter August (Wes Ramsey) away from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and out of trouble. The plan wasn’t perfect, but they had managed to pull it off. While Peter was at Anna’s house, she and Valentin managed to get him into the basement, where they tied him up and Valentin tried to talk some sense into him.
As General Hospital viewers know, Valentin felt guilty over retrieving Peter, as a baby, from a good adoptive family and handing him over to his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Valentin still hopes that he can turn Peter around and on the path to a true redemption instead of a faked one, and for him, holding that gun on him and seeing the wheels of justice turn against Peter is just Valentin’s way of showing tough love! In the meantime, Anna had to run upstairs to answer the door to Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) who she of course was not going to tell was a bad time!
By the time Anna gets done with Finn, and goes back down to the basement, Peter is again spouting veiled threats and telling her that if something happens to him, someone she cares about will die! She took him to imply Finn, who had just left her home perfectly healthy!
General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Visits Jason Morgan With An Update
With Peter safely tucked away in her basement for the time being, Anna goes to Pentonville Prison to confer with Jason and give him some updates. Both of them are trying to handle Peter and they talk about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) also, realizing that they have joined forces. Anna and Valentin have been trying to work on a strategy to bring Peter to justice and Valentin had tried to sweet talk the false witness, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) into recanting her testimony and also to tie her to Cyrus.
They all know that Gladys was paid by Cyrus to give false testimony about seeing Jason throw a gun used to kill Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) down a garbage chute, but District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) needs proof. Valentin unfortunately was unable to trace the number that appeared on Gladys’ phone numerous times, indicating it was a burner, or non-traceable, phone. Sometimes police can find a cell tower it pinged off of but triangulation nearly always requires a ground search and door to door questioning.
This kind of situation doesn’t warrant that type of a search, usually they are only done with a missing person and searchers trying to find the person by their cell phone signal. Jason asks about Peter, and Anna tells him he’s safely tucked away in her basement for the time being! Jason is not wild about that! Anna tells him he’s lucky that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) didn’t handle it!
