General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) isn’t nearly done with her defending “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and her caring for him to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)! General Hospital spoilers and rumors expect Nina will sling even more truth bombs at Carly, calling her out on her Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) obsession!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Is Torn Between Carly Corinthos And Nina Reeves

General Hospital viewers will remember that Sonny, like Mike, didn’t know who he was in Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania, and didn’t remember the wife and family he had waiting for him in Port Charles. When Nina arrived, she was shocked to see that Mike the bartender, who lived above the Tan-O and worked for Lenny and Phyllis Caulfield (Rif Hutton, Joyce Guy) was the missing and presumed dead Sonny! Nina has admitted that she did wrong by not either telling Sonny who he was or calling Carly to tell her where Sonny was, but General Hospital viewers will remember things didn’t quite happen as Carly accuses Nina of. Nina tried to call Carly as soon as she realized Sonny was in Nixon Falls and suffering from amnesia, but Carly was mad about something and wouldn’t let Nina get a word in edgewise so she hung up! As for Sonny, Nina encouraged him to seek out and investigate his identity as did Phyllis but Sonny didn’t want to; he’d figured if he had a family they didn’t care!

General Hospital viewers will remember that for years, any lover or spouse of either Jason or Carly had to accept them as part of the package, and that goes for Sonny too! All the times that Sonny and Carly were married to each other – which has been several marriages and breakups over the years – Jason was the third wheel, and Carly was the third wheel in Jason and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) marriage. Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that around twelve or so years ago, Jason had developed another brain tumor and Carly and Sam argued over whose decision it should be to remove it. Of course, Carly argued that her decision overrode Sam’s – his wife at the time, and Nina has heard enough from Aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about Jason breaking Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) heart! Nina decides it’s time to throw some truth bombs at Carly about her obsession with Jason Morgan!

Jason dumped Britt to marry Carly and pushed his obvious feelings down for Britt, but even though it was supposedly only a marriage in name only as far as Britt was told, she knew better! Both Jason and Carly’s true feelings for each other resurfaced very quickly and Carly had told Britt it would be a real marriage with all the bells and whistles! Even Sonny himself confronted Jason about his and Carly’s feelings for each other before Jason suddenly left for Cassadine Island with Britt to search for Liesl!

In recent episodes of General Hospital, Carly has kicked Sonny to the curb and out of his own house because of the truth that came out in Nina’s preliminary hearing about him and Nina being in love! General Hospital viewers will remember Sonny tried to explain, wanted to explain, and told Carly why he didn’t volunteer the whole truth sooner; he just thought it wasn’t the right time! But Carly wasn’t listening – she was arguing and beating a dead horse over Sonny lying to her just because he hadn’t told her everything yet, while all Sonny was trying to do was spare her feelings! Carly found him making a nice dinner for the two of them when she got back to the Corinthos compound and demanded he be out by the next day or she’d move out. Meanwhile, it’s Nina who’s been trying to keep Sonny sane and picking up the pieces of his broken heart, and Nina goes on the offensive and confronts Carly this time!

Nina Reeves Slings Truth Bombs At Carly Corinthos

General Hospital viewers have seen that Carly’s rejection of Sonny has hit him hard, and other than Laura Collins (Genie Francis) Nina’s been the one who’s been there for Sonny, who’s been hit with a double whammy! Not only has Sonny lost his best friend Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) he’s lost his wife because she’s done for him not giving her every gory detail and not trusting that his and Nina’s relationship didn’t go physical in Nixon Falls! General Hospital viewers will think Nina could give Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) a run for his money in psychoanalysis because she hits the nail right on the head when she confronts Carly over her obsession with Jason! Nina tells Carly she knows why Carly won’t believe that she and Sonny didn’t have an affair with “all the bells and whistles” and is giving no allowance for Sonny’s amnesia! Nina tells an enraged Carly the reason she’s being so hard on Sonny is that she’s still more in love with Jason than she’s ever been with Sonny!
