General Hospital News: Amanda Setton Loves Brook Lynn’s Baby Bump Twist
Amanda says that when she returned to work after giving birth, she actually returned with a fake baby bump, seeing how her character Brook Lynn is supposedly pregnant. But what she’s pregnant with, is the idea that she can fake a pregnancy in order to win back control of ELQ from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). And according to Amanda, she absolutely loves this storyline as much as General Hospital fans do!
She told Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “I absolutely loved this twist! You really have to be one committed gal to pull something like this off. Brook Lynn is committed, to say the least!”
With that said, Amanda also added that she is juggling her motherhood duties with the demands of her workplace just fine. But then again, it’s not like fans would expect anything less from her, right?

She added, “I love the structure of motherhood. You know, the schedule that we must keep and the ice cream store visits before bath time. The love I have for my babies is indescribable. But the more challenging parts are the 2 am wake ups and packing lunches!”
Amanda also says that she is happy that she made the decision to join General Hospital back in 2019. She said, “I truly feel like I get the best of both worlds. Of course, like anything else in life, it comes with challenges. But GH has been a true gift and I am very grateful.”
