General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: After Peter Betrayal, Britt Has Change Of Heart About Helping Mom Liesl Hide Out

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have a change of heart about helping her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) hide out in upcoming episodes of General Hospital.

General Hospital Spoilers – Liesl Obrecht Must Stay Hidden – It’s A Matter Of Life And Death

Liesl has been running scared since Peter August (Wes Ramsey) ran the controversial and disturbing article about Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) brain tumor returning came out. She of course is not afraid of Franco, she programmed Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to protect him when the article came out. However, she doesn’t know for sure if Peter found her private notes on Britt’s laptop when she found Franco’s General Hospital file. Liesl, of course took over Franco’s treatment when Dr. Warren Kirk (Jameson Jones) was accidentally killed by Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in an effort to save Liesl from sexual assault.

If Peter found her private notes – which she did not use a pseudonym on – then Peter knows she is in Port Charles and there is a good possibility he will either hunt her down himself or hire someone else to kill her! Liesl does not have the advantage over him that she did when she knocked him out several years ago and held him hostage in a remote cabin, where she tortured him! That was when she was out of her mind with grief over the death of her son Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Even then, though, she knew Peter was behind it even though indirectly, as Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) shot the wrong son! But she knows that Peter knows she has too many secrets, and that he has become more dangerous as time has gone on!

General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Had Told Her Mother She Was On Her Own, Now She Has A Change Of Heart

It is uncertain exactly where Liesl has been staying up until this point, but she does know her way around Wyndemere Castle – and all its secret rooms. So does Britt. She lived there when she and Nikolas Cassadine (then Tyler Christopher, now Marcus Coloma) were together. Liesl tells Britt about her private notes that she put on the laptop. Britt’s laptop does interface with the General Hospital system, but Liesl put her notes in a separate folder that is not under the General Hospital sign-in. Britt says Peter only had access to her laptop for a few minutes and she hopes he didn’t see them.

General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: After Peter Betrayal, Britt Has Change Of Heart About Helping Mom Liesl Hide Out

Britt was unaware that Liesl had been treating Franco, and she explains, truthfully, that she took over for Kirk upon his death and asks her to keep secret that she was working in the WSB facility in Geneva, Switzerland after she was cleared of charges and released from The Hague. She asks her daughter to keep her secrets. Britt knew that Liesl was working on something medical but didn’t know who she was treating until now. Britt remembers hearing about how her mother tortured Peter, and is surprised he didn’t come after her after that.

She knows now that he is much more dangerous and takes much more after their late father than she thought at first. Britt wasn’t scared of Cesar, and she’s not scared of Heinrik. But she knows that it takes a lot to scare her mother and this must be a serious situation indeed. Previously, she has told Liesl she’s on her own but now she agrees to hide her. The question is, where – she’s not exactly on good terms with Nikolas and isn’t sure if she can trust his new wife at all. But the castle and its secret rooms would be an excellent hiding place. The other alternative might be to let Jason in the loop – which Liesl won’t like – and ask for his help, possibly moving Liesl into one of the Corinthos family’s safe houses.
