General Hospital Fans React To Kin Shriner’s Latest Claims
Was he or was he not fired? That’s what a lot of General Hospital fans can’t help but wonder as there seems to be a lot of debate surrounding Kin Shriner’s status on the show. The actor recently said that he has been written out of the show, but some people don’t believe that to be the case. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers – Fans React To Kin Shriner’s Latest Claims
Earlier this week Kin took to his Twitter account to write, “I just found out Scotty @GeneralHospital was written out I thank u@GeneralHospital fans for decades of supporting me!!!”
Unfortunately, he didn’t add any more details. What’s more, the producers of General Hospital also haven’t made a statement about his status and nothing was officially reported. This has a lot of fans wondering if Kin’s announcement was made prematurely and if he might have been over exaggerating what he had told his fans.
Of course, many General Hospital fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter. Some commented on social media with, “He’ll be back. He did this in 2018, too! At some point the producers are going to be fed up with this childish behavior and desperate need for attention and finally say, ‘you are really done,’” along with, “As much as I like Kin they absolutely should! CBS is cut throat when it comes to social media antics (especially from M*G*-heavy out-of-work actors), so it’s time Disney-ABC do the damn same.”
General Hospital Updates – What’s Next For Kin Shriner?
Another critic wrote, “He makes the same claims yearly. He did it in 2021 and 2022, claiming he’s been fired, when simply there is no immediate Scotty story. Hahaha. He’s overdramatic.”
And then there was this comment, too: “I love Kin, but he tends to be a shade dramatic on occasion; this is an almost word-for-word tweet that he posted about a year or so ago…then Scott turned back up onscreen a few months later. I suspect the same will be the case here.”

[…] Trina never necessarily plotted to take Ace away from Esme as it is; that was all Spencer. She was just supporting the man she loves — not that she’s told him that.
