While her return to Port Charles will bring a rollercoaster of emotions, one silver lining is that her happily ever after love story might be on the horizon.

Britt Westbourne’s Rocky Summer
General Hospital summer preview spoilers imply that Britt will face the music for the many choices she’s made in the past.
Her mom, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), won’t be pleased with all the secrets her Britta kept from her, plus, Britt will deal with some legal drama, too.
One good piece of news is that it will likely turn out that Britt wasn’t suffering from Huntington’s disease, so that will be a positive.
Still, while Britt’s current love, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), will come back to town, as well, all arrows are pointing to the idea that these two will fizzle once they are both in Port Charles again.
It’s hard to pinpoint the exact reason, but there’s a good chance that whatever Jason went through while being imprisoned by the WSB will keep these two apart.
With that said, this doesn’t mean that Britt’s love life won’t heat up in the weeks and months ahead.
Brand New Character = Brand New Love
A new character is set to debut in July, and he goes by the name of Tristan Roberts.
Played by Dean Geyer, summer previews hint that he and Britt will get off to a bumpy start and clash hard.
As fans know, when two characters mix like oil and water, this often means a romance brewing.
One can point to Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) as a fine example of this.
Ethan and Ava’s bantering seems more like flirting at this point, so will the same magic be felt between Britt and Tristan? Only time will tell.
