General Hospital Spoilers: Where Is Valentin – Did Jack Send Him Into A Trap?
General Hospital spoilers and updates pose an important question-where is Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) did Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) send him into a trap?
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) told Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) it had been less than twenty-four hours since Valentin left to meet with WSB head honcho Z in Geneva, but why hasn’t he checked in?
Jack Has Been Trying To Bring Valentin In Since He Escaped During The Transport To Pentonville
Jack has been trying to bring Valentin in since he escaped during the transport to Pentonville from Steinmauer, using every trick in the book including his daughter!
He thought he could influence Valentin’s ex wife Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to get Valentin’s location out of Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke)-he was wrong.
Valentin had been hiding in Carly’s attic for months by the time that a dramatic confrontation came down at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house.
That’s when Nina got caught in the middle of a confrontation between Jack and Valentin and things got rather physical-and she accidentally stabbed Jack in the back with Drew’s paralytic filled syringe!
And Jack had heard the whole truth from Carly by that time that she was involved with Valentin and had been hiding him out for months-and helped him break out!
Nina Was Given A Message For Valentin-“Ex Machina”!
Once Jack began to talk again-since Nina refused to keep dosing him-he gave her a message for Valentin, telling her Valentin would know what it meant; “Ex Machina!”
That was code for the last resort, that Valentin would have to go to Geneva to meet with the head honcho of the WSB, known by code name “Z”.
He took a risk at Z putting him back in Steinmauer or worse, but Z is the only one who could take down Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)!
Valentin’s mission was to reveal and hopefully prove that Cullum was a double agent working with Sidwell, on a deadly Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) project that could destroy the world!
Valentin had intended to storm Wyndemere on his own and dismantle the cold fusion weapon, but by that time Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had been kidnapped to complete it!
The Identity Of Z Has Never Been Revealed And Valentin Hasn’t Been Heard From
The identity of Z has never been revealed, and Valentin hasn’t been heard from-not even through a burner phone, not from a coded text, not tracked on a plane.
He made it out of Carly’s house by the time Cullum and his goons came to search it, but the fact that he never sent any message to let Carly know he arrived okay isn’t a good sign.
Jack hadn’t had any time before being demoted by Cullum-who’s planned to kill him too-to try to contact Z himself, although it’s possible he did before arriving at Nina’s the day he got dosed.
Still, considering Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was sent to a WSB black site, it’s possible that Valentin was put in one too-hopefully, he did get to give Z the intel.
But if Jack and Z were both trying to capture Valentin as a fugitive-after getting the intel about the weapon out of him-that might explain why no one has heard from Valentin!
