General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Finally Sees The Light, Sets Boundaries Regarding Willow

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will finally see the light on the ABC soap, according to Soap  Opera Digest summer spoilers.

After a time of great conflict with his wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) he’ll finally see Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) differently, and he’ll set boundaries.

Chase Has Been Willow’s Dudley Do Right For Far Too Long, And He’s Turned Into Dudley Do Wrong!

Chase has been Willow’s Dudley Do Right to her Nelle tied on the railroad tracks for too long, in other words, the damsel in distress, not her late twin Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)!

Chase has let his bond with Willow go on too far, and instead of Dudley Do Right, he’s turned into Dudley Do Wrong!

He’s made excuses for his conniving ex and couldn’t see the forest for the trees where she’s been concerned.

Willow may have denied that she wanted Chase back and was trying to do exactly that, but still, there’s something  there and everyone can see it.

In particular, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn can see it-even if it’s under the surface-even if they’ve called it a close friendship, when ex-spouses are married to someone else, it’s wrong.

Brook Lynn And Chase Go Through A Rough Spot After Her Plot To Frame Willow Backfires

In her attempt to redirect suspicion towards Willow regarding the accident that left Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Tanisha Harper, Donnell Turner) in a precarious situation, Brook Lynn finds herself facing unforeseen complications.

She had hoped to get Chase to see that Willow was not the saintly person he’s deluded himself into thinking, but the plot backfires, and backfires big time!

This miscalculation leads to a pivotal moment and a rough spot for both Brook Lynn and Chase, as she must ultimately come to terms with her choices and the consequences that follow.

As she tried to paint Willow as the conniving liar, her pointing the finger results in her other three fingers pointing to her!

Chase Finally Sees The Light And Puts Boundaries Up Against Willow

But through the rough patch he and Brook Lynn go through and seeing the extent that she had gone to, desperately trying to show Chase that Willow wasn’t innocent, he finally sees the light.

Basically, he’ll come to the realization that his close friendship with Willow has been undermining his marriage, and he has to make a choice.

He draws a line and tells Willow she cannot cross it, no matter what the reason-as difficult as it might be for him, he has to be blunt.

Willow and he can no longer be friends, although they don’t have to be enemies-they can be civil, but not buddy-buddy, and it’s best they just keep their distance .
