General Hospital spoilers tease that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is never shy about expressing her feeling or opinions. After blabbing to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) that his wife Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) tipped off the SEC to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Matheson) insider trading scheme, she demanded to know what Sonny was going to do about it.
Carly ended up paying a hefty fine while Drew actually spent time in prison for their actions. Sonny values loyalty above everything else, so Lois has a very valid question. But what are her motives.

It is possible that Lois is just being a concerned friend. Sure, she is sticking her nose where many feel it doesn’t belong. But it may just be a matter of trying to get Sonny to confront his feelings.
Lois seemingly wasn’t shy about dissing Nina to Sonny, but she may simply have Sonny’s best interest on her mind. The sooner Sonny confronts his feelings for Nina, one way or another, the sooner he can move on and be happy once again. But what if Lois has another agenda!
GH Spoilers – Could Lois Cerullo Want Sonny Corinthos For Herself!
Perhaps Lois has unresolved romantic feelings for Sonny. She might feel by getting Nina out of the way and badmouthing her, she could clear a path to Sonny herself.
Lois was once very much in love with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) but she doesn’t seem to have any lingering feelings for her ex.
Perhaps in the coming days, Lois will make a play of her own for Sonny. Such a proposition would certainly take Sonny, and perhaps Lois herself, by surprise. But that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t happen.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Still Loves Nina Corinthos!
If Lois does make a play for Sonny, it might actually serve to remind Sonny that no matter what she has done, that Sonny still loves Nina.
While it may not have been her intention, Lois may be responsible for sending Sonny back in Nina’s arms. Or perhaps the whole thing was a plan by Lois to get Sonny to make a decision. The woman is quite saavy and this would certainly be something she might do.
