General Hospital Spoilers: A Love Story Waits for Cody — But With Who?

General Hospital spoilers leak Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) continues to climb the ranks as a man of mystery in Port Charles. Perhaps that’s because he’s playing everyone and pretending to be someone he isn’t. At his core, it seems like Cody is actually a good guy, but he’s not the guy he says he is. Specifically, he’s not Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) son. But he needs to ride that wave of lies if he’s going to have any shot at securing a $10 Million settlement from the WSB for destroying his inheritance — the Princess Diamond necklace.

Meanwhile, Cody has been trying to otherwise clean up his act, even though he’s keeping everyone in the dark about Mac Scorpio (John J. York) being his dad. When Cody finds himself developing feelings for a certain lady friend, he might start to wonder how long he can keep this secret from her.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will He Forgive Sasha — and Wait for Her?

It seemed like Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody were careening toward one another before she stabbed him in the side with a steak knife and sent him to the emergency room. Now, Sasha is settling in at Ferncliff Asylum for the Criminally Insane, and Cody is recovering with more stitches than he’s ever received before. That’s saying something. Cody will be left more confused than ever about how he and Sasha left things. When he was bleeding out on the floor of the Metro Court pool, all he could utter was “why?” Now, it’s likely we won’t see Sasha for a while since her portrayer is on maternity leave. Is her absence going to leave room for Cody to grow fond of someone else?

GH Spoilers Indicate Maxie is Too Close for Comfort

Rumor has it Cody is going to spend a lot of time with the person he credits for intervening and saving his life — Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Nah, it’s not likely GH will push that envelope. No one has forgotten that Cody and Maxie are technically step-siblings. But Maxie could come to like Cody more after spending time with him as he recovers from Sasha’s attempt to filet him. Still, Cody only feels familial to her and will never let that proceed. So get those minds out of the gutter, fans!

The more likely romantic option in Cody’s future is the last one most of us would see coming. We’ve seen how much Cody has come to adore Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) AKA Mama Q. She’s going through it right now, feeling as though she’s lost her husband — Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) — although he’s alive and well living his life as Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth). Cody is going to need help as he bounces back from this assault and it’s like Olivia won’t take no for an answer when she insists he move into the main house. Will this give them a bit too much time together as Olivia grieves her loneliness and Cody tries to make sense of his life? Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) isn’t going to like this.
