General Hospital spoilers reveals Back on the mainland, The Hook is about to plunge its icy death grip straight into someone else. Meanwhile, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is trapped in a tower at Wyndemere and no one knows it. No one is acting on her behalf. There is no charade to be found. Rather, the explanation is more simpler than Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) ever would have thought. Esme is not The Hook — and she doesn’t know who is. When she finds out her name has been cleared — at least as far as Nikolas and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are concerned — she’s going to be filled with hope that this whole living in a tower thing can come to an end. However, Nikolas has other plans.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Hook Claims Another Victim
The Hook is going to strike against their fifth victim, who will once again be someone Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is close to. It won’t bother Esme one bit, and she might even relish in the details of it — if she can get any. Nikolas and Elizabeth are keeping her pretty removed from the events of the everyday world. Still, Esme is going to be interested in hearing any updates on the case that Nikolas insisted was his primary reason for keeping her there.
GH Spoilers Indicate Esme Cannot be The Hook
Esme hasn’t left the tower since that fateful night she ran into Elizabeth on the docks. Nikolas caught up with her and immediately escorted her back to Spoon Island, where she’s been ever since. There is no way that Esme was in Port Charles terrorizing anyone recently, much less doing so wielding a hook with her very pregnant belly. While Nikolas and Elizabeth won’t have any doubt that she’s in the clear and not a murderer, no one else will. That’s going to bother Elizabeth, who is worried for her son’s safety. If Esme isn’t The Hook, who in the world is?
General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Time to Strike a Deal
Esme knows Nikolas has other reasons for keeping her hostage in his home. He absolutely does not want his wife — Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) to find out he’s fathered a child with Esme. How he plans to hide that after the baby is born is anyone’s guess. Is he hoping to send his child off to one of his islands to be raised by a nanny and caretakers so he will never have to tell Ava the truth? That wouldn’t make for a much better relationship with his future child than the one he has with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) right now.
He is always saying he has so many regrets about how he handled his relationship with Spencer. They sure aren’t coming into play now. Might Esme use Nikolas’ weaknesses against him and help him negotiate a way to stay in his child’s life under the radar if he just lets her go and facilitates supporting her and the baby?
Of course, Esme could always try to appeal to Elizabeth’s reasonable side too. Will Liz let her go if she knows she’s not a physical threat to anyone she loves? Probably not, given all she did to Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) without ever laying a hand on him. Still, she’s going to give it her best shot.
