General Hospital Spoilers: Avery Kristen Pohl Talks About Esme and Ryan’s Relationship

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Avery Kristen Pohl has something to say about Esme Prince, her alter ego’s relationship with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).

Both fans and the actress had their suspicions that Esme was Ryan’s daughter. Pohl revealed that she confirmed that the latter was her alter ego’s father shortly after they started shooting her scenes.

The actress shared that before taping, the director told her that her character’s dad was Ryan.

“So I was like, ‘Okay, that changes things!’” the actress said.

Fans Recently Learned About Esme and Ryan’s Relationship

Unlike Pohl, fans knew that Esme was Ryan’s daughter just recently. In an episode that aired on March 9, 2022, Esme had a secret and serious conversation with Ryan.

Even after the revelation, some fans were still left a bit confused because of their weird and unusual interaction. Esme has called Ryan daddy while the latter called her daughter. But for some viewers, the pair are unusually intimate with each other, making them rethink if they only have a paternal relationship.

“The biggest thing Jon [Lindstrom, Ryan] and I wanted to do was make the audience second-guess everything,” the actress said. Pohl thinks that they’re doing just that.

Pohl’s Experience Working With Jon Lindstrom

The actress revealed that filming scenes with Lindstrom were an interesting experience. The actress admitted that she was sweating during that time and the scenes, which she said were “naturally make-your-skin-crawl.”

He also referred to Lindstrom as a “super nice dude” and that they both tried to make their scenes as comfortable as possible.

“But they were very interesting things to have to film, and a very questionable relationship to portray — to say the least!” she teased.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) doesn’t believe that Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) stole the Ice Princess. She’s not convinced that the latter can kill Luke.

As for Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), he wants to make the person behind Luke’s death pay. He doesn’t think that the case should be closed just yet.

As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she thinks the Cassadines have something to do with it. Laura will agree with Anna that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may have framed Jennifer to take the blame for Luke’s death.
