General Hospital spoilers tease that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Jones) and Mac Scorpio (John J York) seem to be moving in opposite directions career-wise. While Mac was recently shot in the line of duty, trying to prevent Peter August (Wes Ramsey) from escaping police custody, it was Felicia who travelled halfway across the globe and dealt the killing blow to the man who has tormented their daughter for over a year. Although Mac isn’t Maxie’s biological father, he is the one who raised her.
General Hospital Spoilers – Felicia Scorpio defied Anna DeVane and saved the day!
Although Felicia was originally told to stay at home when it came time to rescue Maxie from Peter, it was actually her that figured out exactly where Maxie was. Not only that, but she hit Peter hard enough to kill him, ending his reign of terror. But it seemed to awaken something inside of Felicia, since not long after that she accompanied Anna to Austria to help investigate Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death. Meanwhile, Mac is still at home, at Felicia’s insistence, as he recovers from his injuries.

Felicia has every reason to be concerned. Mac was shot and almost died in the name of his job and duty. His recovery is going slowly and its got to be even more frustrating as his wife is able to take action while he cannot. And with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) back on duty as Police Commissioner, Mac may begin to get even more frustrated. It will only make matters worse if Felicia continues taking on dangerous missions. Although the trip to Austria was supposed to be completely safe, Anna almost died. Mac won’t be happy to hear that Felicia was once again in danger.

Once Felicia gets back, it’s time for her and Mac to have a long talk about their future. They had pretty much settled in to running the Floating Rib before it was destroyed in an explosion over a year ago. That was when Mac rejoined the police force. But now that Felicia is once again putting herself in the line of fire, and Mac is stuck on the sidelines, it’s time for this couple to have a long discussion about their future. Perhaps they could once again become private investigators, or maybe they should find about establishment to run. But either way, this couple is going to have to make some hard choices in the coming weeks.
