General Hospital spoilers and updates tease it’s not “Carson’s” last stand as Maurice Benard confirms some General Hospital fans’ despair that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos are over forever is only temporary!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny And Carly Corinthos’ Divorce Is Final, But Not Forever
General Hospital viewers will recall from a recent episode of General Hospital that both parties signed the divorce papers, so for the time being, yes, Carson is over. Maurice even tweeted that Laura Wright is pushing for “Darley”, in other words, a pairing between Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly. Some fans don’t like that either – they feel that Drew will be a placeholder for Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton), who appears to be Carly’s true love, but he was killed off the show.
For now, Maurice said, Sonny will be paired with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly may be paired with Drew. However, Maurice assures fans it won’t be forever and after Nina finds out she can’t get “Mike” back and he’s going to be Gangster Sonny, eventually Sonny and Carly will reconcile – or at least that’s the plan. General Hospital viewers may see that disconnect between Nina’s Mike and Carly’s Sonny may start playing out sooner than they think!
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves And Sonny Corinthos Have A Misunderstanding
General Hospital viewers will recall that Nina has always been a fixer, and Sonny is not someone who necessarily wants to be fixed; she will find the same problems with Sonny that she found with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and she found with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).
Already General Hospital viewers are seeing trouble in paradise with Nina’s Sonny improvement program – and once Nina finds Sonny being dishonest with her even to the nth iota, she’ll be hurt and run from him! Nina has been a good friend to Sonny and he has appreciated that – but he is no one’s rehabilitation project. Nina has worried and fussed over him not wanting him to drink and be off his bipolar meds, but in a recent preview Sonny tells Nina he knows her, and she is in tears and cries, no, she knows Mike, not this Sonny!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos And Carly Corinthos Have Broken Up Many Times
Longtime General Hospital viewers should not be surprised at Sonny and Carly breaking up again, they have broken up and then gotten back together many, many times in their history. Newer General Hospital viewers don’t realize that not that many years ago, Carly was married to Jax and gave birth to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) around the time Sonny was engaged to Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) cousin, Kate Howard aka Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan).
Kate was murdered by Ava Jerome, now Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) to keep Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) true identity a secret; in short order, Ava and Sonny had crypt sex on AJ Quartermaine’s (Sean Kanan) crypt, and produced Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola)! Make ups and break ups of Carly and Sonny are really nothing new and not such a big deal, they always seem to get back together after a while!

As long as this ridiculous and absurd story with whiny Nina and wimpy Sonny continues I’ve moved on.
Had the original Sonny amnesia debacle not carried on for nearly a year it might be more tolerable to put up with these two pathetic people. But at this point we are sooooo OVER IT!!
G.H. it’s time to move on from this very disappointing and pathetic storyline….or at least bring Jason back!!!!
