General Hospital (GH) has been on the air for over six decades now, and the reason behind its longevity is strong storylines, action, adventure, and of course, romance.

Many super couples have fallen in love over the years and tied the knot, but what is the most memorable wedding of all time? Here are some options you can vote on …

Willow & Michael

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are Port Charles’s “It” couple right now. Their wedding in April of this year was memorable for so many reasons.

Not only was Willow fighting for her life battling leukemia, but there were so many secrets lingering out there, that fans knew a bombshell was going to be dropped at any moment.

In the end, the bride and ceremony were beautiful; however, mother-of-the-groom Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was completely caught off guard during the reception when the feds arrived, looking to talk to her about some insider trading activities.

Felicia & Frisco

Ah, soap operas in the ‘80s! Big hair, cheesy storylines, and over-the-top wedding drama! While Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) called everything off the night before (including the catering, venue, etc.), a change of heart had her proceeding.

In typical daytime drama fashion, every “last-minute” detail was completed just in time. Felicia looked stunning in an heirloom lace gown, and super spy Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) looked dapper in his uniform. While their marriage didn’t last the long haul, the event remains on the top of many “memorable wedding” lists.

Brenda & Sonny

Picture it, February 2011 in Port Charles. After well over a decade of going back and forth, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wed Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil).

The wedding didn’t go off without a hitch, as most weddings in Port Charles; however, when all was said and done, after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) walked her down the aisle, the two said “I do” in a wildly romantic ceremony.

Many fans still believe that Brenda is the love of Sonny’s life, the two have always just had “bad timing” between them.

Maxie & Nathan

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has never been the same since the love of her life, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) passed away. Their wedding in 2017 was a beautiful affair, with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) as Matron of Honor and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) as the Best Man.

Damian Spinelli officiated; however, recast Blake Berris stepped in for the big event, not OG Bradford Anderson. Still, it was certainly an affair to remember.

Laura & Luke

How can a record-breaking 30 million viewers be wrong? A daytime milestone that has yet to be surpassed! Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) were the original soapy super couple, setting the mold for others to follow.

The wedding ceremony and attire were traditional; the reception brought on a brawl, thanks to Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner); however, the ultimate wedding gift was given by Helena Cassadine (then played by the legendary Elizabeth Taylor), who cursed the couple. A Cassadine “curse” that is often still brought up in storylines today.
