General Hospital (GH) spoilers, news, and updates tease that Kimberly McCullough becomes nostalgic as she shares an old photo of her first project.
In a recent Instagram post, Kimberly shared an old photo of her when she was six years old. She was in the set of Breakin’2: Electric Boogaloo. She said in the caption that she was the same age in the photo as his son now. She was wearing a yellow shirt and red pants in the photo, and sporting adorable pigtails and bangs. We believe most children had these bangs and Kimberly is surely one of them.
She also said that it was the day that an accidental actress was born. She also mentioned director Sam Firstenberg. She recalled that he gave her her first line which was “C’mon Turbo’s OK. C’mon.”
The photo was taken to commemorate that moment according to her. She was grateful to Sam for changing her life right at that moment. She again thanked the director for celebrating her small victory.
In the movie she mentioned, her credits only mentioned Kimberly and Dancer. She played one of the kids that were having dancing lessons from the protagonist.
It was really probably a small role, but seeing her looking back on this, it is probably one of the most important projects in her life. The movie was released in 1985.
How it changed her life from then on.
After she was cast in the movie, she immediately got the role of Robin Drake, the daughter of Robert and Anna in General Hospital. Kimberly was part of the show from 1985 until 2021. The first movie she was in as a child really opened a door for her.
Majority of her career, she was part of General Hospital. But it didn’t stop her from appearing in other projects. She appeared in Legally Blond, Firefly, Family Law, and All My Children. She also appeared in the GH spin-off General Hospital: Night Shift from 2007 to 2008.
But apart from acting, Kimberly has a passion for directing. The most recent directorial project she had was High School Musical: The Musical: The Series for 11 episodes.
She also directed Netflix Original comedy/horror series Boo, Bitch starring Lana Condor and Zoe Margaret Colletti. She also directed some episodes for other series such as Pretty Little Liars, The Conners, All About the Washingtons, How I Met Your Mother, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, among others.
We can’t wait for more projects from Kimberly since she left GH, whether it’s a directorial project or an acting one.
