Grady Eldridge: Meet General Hospital’s New Music Executive Simon
The Arizona native built an impressive résumé before landing his recurring role as Simon on General Hospital.
This week, General Hospital (GH) fans got to meet Grady Eldridge, who debuted on the ABC soap as Simon, an intense music industry insider.
The Recap
According to a recap by Celebrating The Soaps, Simon first appeared during a recording studio showcase. The scene featured Brook Lynn Quartermaine, Trina, and Gio Palmieri.
Simon quickly shook things up when he “expressed interest in pairing Gio with another artist.”
Brook Lynn did not let that slide. She immediately defended Trina’s spotlight. Simon then gave Trina some blunt direction. He urged her to “embrace the moment” on her next take.
The audience didn’t actually hear the final song. Even so, the music executive praised Gio’s skills. The encounter hints at new tension ahead.
Soap Opera Digest confirmed the casting, noting Eldridge is playing “music executive Simon” in a recurring capacity.
The recurring role marks another milestone for an actor who has spent years building momentum.
Growing Up In Arizona
Eldridge grew up in Yuma, Arizona. He attended Yuma Catholic High School and graduated in 2013. He later attended Arizona State University, graduating in 2017.
Before hitting Hollywood, Eldridge kept busy. He worked as a certified personal trainer in Phoenix. He also modeled.
An Arizona Foothills Magazine profile from 2018 reveals his early drive. At the time, Grady Eldridge described his lifestyle as “nomadic.”
He split his time between Phoenix and Los Angeles, saying he did it “to make some dreams happen.”
Hard Work Brought Success
The hustle paid off. He eventually moved to Los Angeles full-time. He booked commercials for massive brands like Google and Volkswagen. Soon, small television roles followed.
He played Gabe on HBO’s The Sex Lives of College Girls in 2024. He also appeared as Raphael on Doctor Odyssey that same year. By 2026, he secured a guest spot as Eli on the final season of Hacks. He also starred as Max in the project Office Romance.
Who Is The Man Behind Simon’s Role?
General Hospital fans always like to meet the person behind the roles on ABC. So, we checked out his social media. Grady Eldridge keeps his personal life fairly private on Instagram, where he posts under the @gradyeldridge handle.
Older reports from 2018 suggested he was single. Nothing publicly suggests that has changed. His bio simply describes him as a “Healthy Young Man.”
His posts show a love for the outdoors. He shares photos of beach walks and wildlife trips. One upload featured shots of lions, elephants, and a leopard. He also frequently posts gym photos that highlight his fitness.
Often he fills his feed with funny memes and posts with friends. The posts suggest a down-to-earth personality behind the polished headshots.
