General Hospital Spoilers: Gio Palmieri’s Dark Side – Is There More Than Meets The Eye To This “Nice” Newcomer
General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that soap fans always know to watch the “nice” ones. After all, they are one plot twist away from becoming villains!
Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has splashed onto the Port Charles scene, and everyone is captivated by his violin talents and overall “good guy” persona.
But is there more than meets the eye with this kid?
GH Spoilers: Everyone Seems To Love Gio Palmieri
GH spoilers note that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) aren’t only fans of the newcomer, but he’s also wowed Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and has Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton), and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) in his corner.
Still, as the old saying goes, is Gio “too good to be true”?
GH Spoilers: Is Gio Hiding Something?
Gio will probably be a good character, with no terrible intentions; however, in the land of Port Charles, people can seem good at first, but turn dark in an instant.
Gio was lucky to grow up with family around him, but it’s hard not to think that the trauma he endured by losing both of his parents at a young age didn’t take a toll on him as a child.
The good news is that he was surrounded by the Falconeris and Cerullos, so he had plenty of love and support. But he never met his dad, and his mom died when he was little.
How could that not have negatively affected him? Did he feel the love of his aunts and uncles over the years or was he jealous that all his cousins had parents and he didn’t? Did he feel like he was a part of his family, or alienated because he didn’t have his mom and dad around?
It was mentioned that the families in Bensonhurst helped him along so much over the years, which included financial support from Sonny, but that doesn’t mean that Gio may have felt like something was missing as he grew up.
Could his dark side surface in the days and weeks ahead? Perhaps a violent side to Gio emerges after he gets comfortable in a romance with Trina.

I really don’t trust Geo. Something tells me he’s got an agenda. He reminds me of Nell and reminds me of Esme. Those two acted all goody two shoes, but then they’re real motives came out’s motive was to help Nicholas or help. Spencer destroy his father‘s marriage to Ava, but she was manipulated by her father Ryan Chamberlain, who was in prison at the time and then she decided to drug trainer Robinson and frame her for a revenge porn that she did not make and then at the end she died as for now Benson she wanted revenge on Carly because their father Frank Benson was a traitor and she saw Carly as a traitor because she left her there with Frank so there’s no telling what Geo’s motive is .
Why does Gio have to get with Trina? Joss needs more friends
